series three are now on lego.com, and they are $2.99 cad, and $2.99 usd.

Yeah, just saw that as well. Hopefully they stay at that price for us, that would be fair.

Not a fan of most of the rest of the pricing for stuff for this year. Seems as though piece counts are falling and prices are rising. Oh well, that's always the trend isn't it? I'm glad I'm not interested in this first wave of Star Wars sets - a 389 piece Jedi Shuttle for 80 bucks!? Some of the pricing for the NinjaGo sets is kinda wonky - Spinjitzu Dojo is $65, and the Skeleton Bowling is $40. Reasonable pricing on the smaller sets in the line though (Ninja Ambush and Ninja Training Outpost).

I wish TLC would get the instructions for the Pharaoh's Quest sets up online. I've got all the sets, but after a recent move they've all been disassembled and I'm currently without their manuals.

For those who are interested, there are still plenty of series 2 minifigures at the TRU Express at the Woodbine mall. The staff there is friendly and basically encourage the use of cheat sheets for the figs.

Just got the latest S@H catalogue in the mail, it has about everything we'd expect - NinjaGo, new police sets, Pharaoh's Quest, Star Wars, Technic, etc.

To those who live in Victoria BC

Almost all the London Drugs have CM2s and on 20% off, hope that helps :classic:

Sweet! The Yates St store had the best selection earlier - they even put out four unopened boxes one day which somehow got opened all at once. :)

did you see the S@H sale?

I saw it too late :sadnew:

I saw it, but it's for USA too, so I'm thinking it's more Christmas than Boxing Day

I would get the Home One, but I don't think my parents would want to pay the shipping fee, and it's not a must have set for me. If Battle For Endor was on sale though, I'd beg my parents until they can't stand me anymore

BOXING DAY WATCH!!!

Toys R Us:

1/2 off on City and Prince of Persia sets.

I think that's it in terms of Lego

Hot dog! I was just about to order the Battle of Alamut from S@H, but if I can sneak into TRU on boxing day before everything is sold out then I don't have to wait for it to be shipped out. Nice. Some pretty good sales overall for S@H, I'm sure everything will be sold in a matter of hours.

I'm going retro with my Lego purchases this Christmas. I've already got a MISB Alpha Centauri Outpost headed my way courtesy of Bricklink, and next week I'll have to hit up some more classics.

Anyone see any Series 3 figs out yet in the Toronto area? I will probably end up buying a whole box to get the complete series. If any members on here want a complete set too, I will be selling the rest and would prefer to deal loaclly. Keep your eyes peeled, and I will yell if I find any around town. Happy Hunting!

Actually I opened three boxes and cleared out the Spartans but there were a couple of boxes I didn't touch. I was trying not to be too greedy. Glad to know the ones I left were appreciated. :classic:

Oh, I didn't ask anyone. I was bad and opened them since they were just sitting on the shelf. I opened one and got all three and then couldn't believe when no one stopped me. I grabbed all three from the next one and again felt like I was going to nabbed at any time by a staff member but I got through the third with only one mother with kids looking at me funny; and then thanking me when I used my barcode sheet to find her kid one he wanted.

I walked out with 9 (3 in each of 3 boxes). My oldest son now has a BrickWars squad and a couple appeared in stockings Xmas Morning.

I also finished (mostly) my Mariachi band:

I was in a local TRU yesterday and asked about Series 3 and they had nothing and gave no time line when they would get them. Kind of disappointed since pretty much all of the 2011 sets were on the shelves. Also been to a couple WM and their Lego aisles look empty and deserted.

Anybody seen anything else around the GTA?

Yes, I also went to a few WMs and the LEGO aisles looked ransacked. The LEGO section in TRU in Hamilton also looked really empty a few days ago, especially the SW section.

I went to the Vic Park & Lawrence TRU, and they didn't have any NinjaGo or LSW! I was

I understand NinjaGo, as it's popular with the kiddies, but the only SW sets there were one copy of the AT-AT and one copy of the Separatist Shuttle. None of the shelves were empty or anything! :cry_sad:
