sok117 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 I know where that is and I will be there today to get mine. Is this some sort of secret? Are you waiting until you buy all the galactic patrol figures to tell us the mystery location? Quote

Legobrandon Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 (edited) I recall the choice was small (children size) at our grand opening. Aww... I guess I can't wear it so I'll just hang it up on the wall or something. I got my Series 7 figs today! And Don't worry, they have lots......... Don't know where this place is but it looks like heaven. Imagine swimming in a pool of CMF's. Anyone know what a LEGO store stock room looks like? Edited April 21, 2012 by Legobrandon Quote
legomaniac83 Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 But I'm guessing that's the shope out in Waterloo? You are Right! Toy Building Zone in St. Jacobs! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 Aww... I guess I can't wear it so I'll just hang it up on the wall or something. ... would you trade it for a Adult Large Toronto opening shirt? Quote

Legobrandon Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Don't know if any of you are following the playoffs but it was a disappointing night for Vancouver Canucks fans. Lost the series in OT 2-1. Well at least we still have the Senators. Go Leafs Go! Quote

prateek Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Go Leafs Go! This might be going against the norm per se, but screw the Senators! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 This might be going against the norm per se, but screw the Senators! BOOO! They're still Canadian! GO CANADA! Great game tonight... Lundqvist is down right scary... It's going to be a good game seven. (GO LEAFS!) Quote
soundwave_sw Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Nope, someone bought one from the recently opened Vancouver LEGO store the other day. That was me. I picked one up on opening day. I didnt any others. I am willing to trade or sell if anyone really needs it. Quote

Still rooting for the Leafs, eh? I hear Luongo might be traded over there. Btw, did anyone see Alfredsson's major freak out two night back? Man, that was crazy! And #14's face was priceless. On the same note, I kinda wanted the Blackhawks to win, but they lost yesterday night to the Coyotes. Quote

I'm hearing the same thing too, but doesn't he (unfortunately for us) have a 10 year contract? Or is that with the Sedin twins? Hopefully Ottawa gets through! Quote
Si-MOCs Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 I haven't heard any actual rumours of Luongo to the Leafs - but I wouldn't be surpised... Leafs always love big names on their declines.... I DID hear that Luongo was willing to wave his no-trade clause if asked... -- I did see Alfredsson's freakout. I liked it. It's probably the most emotional I've seen him... ever. That's what the playoffs are about... passion! Quote
Legobrandon Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 (edited) Yep, has a 12 year contract remaining but is willing to waive the no-trade clause if Gillis decides to trade him. I'm still quite pissed that Gillis decided to trade away Hodgson. Edited April 25, 2012 by Legobrandon Quote

I'm still quite pissed that Gillis decided to trade away Hodgson. Sounds like Hodgson has some issues with the team. He was too skilled to keep as a 3rd line center behind Sedin & Kesler. Hopefully Kassian can live up to expectations. Luongo has 10 years remaining with a 5.3 cap hit. his last 4 years are only 3.3, 1.6, 1.0, & 1.0 million respectively. It should be pretty easy to buy him out. He is/was my favorite Canuck for a while and I think he has a lot of good years left. He should be able to fill a hole on another team and give them some playoff hope. I think he's handled the whole situation with class. I was hopeing to build a Lego statue of him holding the cup, but it looks like i will have to keep waiting and find another Canuck favorite. Quote
purpleparadox Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 According to Bricklink, those fence parts came out in 2000. No way! I now have to go look through my collection, I'm SURE those are from her Lego! Perhaps she received some newer parts from a relative before she gave it to me? My mom was a kid a LONG time before the 2000's. (No offense, mom.) Is there a similar fence from the 70's? 80's? Maybe someone gave her Lego from that time period? Mystery solved. I got those pieces in a gift, set 4116 when I was younger. The pieces got mixed in with my mom's old Lego. That's what happened. Quote

Everyone seems to forget how much of a fantastic goalkeeper he was. He was brilliant in the Winter Olympics, made fantastic sames last year and played decently just before playoffs.. I hate how a lot of people only see the bad side of people instead of them as a whole. Quote

They took too many penalties and just seemed like they weren't ready for the playoffs. Sens lost tonight 2-1 to the Rangers. Guess the Cup is not coming home this year, again. Toadtorrent Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Was just at the Sherway store, and in the back they have a full box of Light Bluish Gray Brick 1 x 3, and Trans-Yellow Plate 1 x 1 in their Pick A Brick stock. I spoke with one of the staff, and she said they are not permitted to order tan and gray too much, as they are required to maintain a certain visual appeal to kids on the wall, so that means predominantly lime, yellow, orange and other coloured parts. When she can order the tan and gray parts, she does...I thought this was interesting. It was the first time I've seen LBG 1x3 bricks which I thought useful to castle and space MOC'ers... Quote
Piratedave84 Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 For those in the Ottawa region, play value on carling has the series 7 CM there were 2 boxes at the till this morning ! Quote
IAmWillGibson Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 There is a box of Series 7 at Toys Toys Toys in the Eaton Centre, which is good news only because it means the Indigo should be getting them soon, although it's a little disconcerting that it and the World Biggest Books both seem to have a bunch of Series 6 just sitting there still. But yeah, they're definitely in Toronto, and will be at a store that doesn't jack the price to baffling levels pretty soon. Quote

I was wondering why there was never enough light and dark bley. Quote
