JimBee Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 -People trying to talk to me while I have music on (this one really gets on my nerves D=) -People listening to music when I'm trying to talk to them... Oh, and console fanboys in general. No, I don't care about how many more FPS you can get on a game on the PS3, I don't care that LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 are "superior" to Halo 3 and Gears Of War 2, and I don't give a crap that any other system has better graphics than the Wii. Every system is good, it just depends on what you're looking for. Online play? Grab a 360. Family fun? We like Wii. Technical junkie? PS3. (Me? I own a 360 and a Wii, and the Wii was my console of choice - and I do consider myself a hardcore gamer. Anyone who says the Wii is JUST for casual gamers is sorely, sorely mistaken.) Now there, I have to agree with you. What's the big deal? "OMG, liek, the 360 is soooo mmuch cooler, Wii is 4 babies"... it goes on and on.... why can't they just enjoy what they have, and not complain about people who enjoy other things? I also really, really, hate it when people use "1337" speak when their actually talking. I don't have much of a problem when their texting it or something, but if I hear some kid go "OMG" in public, I will get really, really, annoyed.
CP5670 Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) Fanboys of any company. That includes manufacturers of computer hardware (particularly video cards), consoles, games and brands of bricks, for that matter. I prefer certain individual products, not certain companies. Zarkan Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) A lot of things. I have a disorder, so I'm often a lot sensitive to stuff than most people, including feelings, smells, tastes, and other things. However, my biggest pet peeve has nothing to do with any of those. More than anything else, I find it annoying when people flame each other just because they have a difference of opinion. I've left at least one forum permanently because the experienced members there had a habit of demeaning newer members who disagreed - including the moderators. Fanboys of any company. That includes manufacturers of computer hardware (particularly video cards), consoles, games and brands of bricks, for that matter. I prefer certain individual products, not certain companies. Amen to that. Edited January 3, 2009 by Grevious
General Armendariz Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 Breaking my nails from trying to separate plates off a baseboard when I can't find my separater tool. I hate when that happens!
Corvus Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 People texting while driving. I don't mind reading at a restaraunt, but someone hunched over, staring under the table texting annoys me. People texting while driving...on mopeds.

DarthSion Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 spelling and grammar nazi's. and people who jump on people cos they think the question they asked is stupid.
Bricklanta Posted January 15, 2009 Posted January 15, 2009 Peoples I like legoes!! Just kidding haha My worst pet peeve is when someone calls me a "noob" on WoW.
Mrs Pegleg Blockbeard Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Road train (big trucks with lots of carriages) drivers, weaving through traffic, while on the phone, and SPEEDING during peak hour, all at the same time. I see it all the time, and it just makes me cross. Sometimes, I shake my fist... not that they can see, obviously I'm too much of a wuss to make hand gestures to a big scary truck driver. But that, is really annoying and a little scary to be honest.
Derek Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 spelling and grammar nazi's. If you are talking about people on here, that is part of the forum rules, and you kind of agreed to it when you joined. I think it is incredibly obnoxious when people don't capitalize and punctuate properly, especially on here. It is supposed to be a mature forum, and people who write like that totally ruin it.

DarthSion Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 I hate summer, and people who play loud music, and they way kids are so bratty these days.
commanderbly42 Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 Oh gosh, I probably have too many to list but I'll try. *When I'm in a stall in the bathroom somewhere and someone in the next one over lights a cigarette. *People who come up to me and say something in a strange voice about crumpets cos I'm British. *People who say things like "that is so gay." *People who obsess over their xbox 360 - so annoying. *When people flame others for their beliefs. *Obnoxious people. I think that's about it but I probably have more that I've forgotten.

Where abouts is North Carolina in Britain? Edit Very sorry, I only just read your info section. Do they really say that to you even though you live there? Edited January 24, 2009 by Buttons

Do they really say that to you even though you live there? Hah, no worries. But yeah, they still say things like that which can be really annoying. They aren't as bad as they used to be though.
Shine Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 People who run up/down the wrong side of stairs irritate me.
donneyboy Posted February 6, 2009 Posted February 6, 2009 People who make fun of my Lego obsession also Kamikazes, I mean they kill themselves, and several thousand others for a job.

Problem, is (and this is addressed to know one in paticular) many people that claim to have spelling and gramar pet peeves, have used impropper spelling and grammar themselfs. It happens to everyone at one point or another. Mine are.. -People that mean mug (stare you down) -Falsely accusing me/friends/family of lieing -People that get all bent out of shape for saying "Legos" legos, legos, legos, legosssssssss!! -Loud eating And biggest one.. -people that touch my car radio without asking. This includes making a phone call and turning down the volume. Doing this will result in instant ejection from my vehicle.
DarthSion Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Price rip offs on ebay, $265 Aussie for chrome Vader, WTF. Good behaviour bs in jails.
Oky Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I really get annoyed when... people make spelling/grammar errors. people don't pay attention (to what others are saying) and do or say stupid things as a result of that. people do things that are unnecessary or unnecessarily complicated. somebody smokes around me. I hate cigarettes and smoke! somebody accuses me of doing something wrong when I didn't. people say that Star Wars is only for nerds. I miss out on a Lego set that I really wanted (due to financial problems). people act like Lego isn't important.
Zorbas Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Trying to sleep and suddenly hearing a mosquito approaching me making that "becoming louder as it approaches" ZZZNNNNZZZZZZNNNNZZZZZZNNNNZZZZZZ REALLY ANNOYING sound...
