Ahoy all! I'm actually a relatively new member to eurobricks who has had a facination with lego Pirates for a while. Alas, I came of age just as the last pirate sets were leaving. Now I am dissapointed that I missed out on the first wave of piratey fun, but I'm excited (as we all are) for the new pirates sets. Anyway, I built this galleon on LDD and I am quite proud if it. It is a 3 deck, 44-gun galleon which uses 1392 pieces!

So, without further ado, I present...(drumroll)...the IMPERIAL GALLEON!

I can't build things in LDD that good so that's why I think this is a mighty fine ship!

You should only make some work on the bow, it looks like a modern ship now. Another improvement may be to remove the lowest deck because it's very close to the waterline but it's your ship and your ideas have been used in it.

Ok, now for a quick update on my progress:

I destroyed the lower deck- the ship now has 22 guns. I have tried some cosmetic work on the bow but I can't get it right without destroying the whole superstructure of the ship. In light of this, I will have to make it look like an old fashioned ship another way

I've been searching the web for a galleon bow and I saw how you can improve it.

Of course this is just an idea how to improve the bow, it is completely your ship and you may do what you want with it.

You only have to lower the bow a few bricks and you're done.

I have no idea how to work with LDD so I don't know if this is even possible.

I saw that too. I'll try to upgrade it and see what I come up with. I think I should also raise the forcastle a bit. And no, I haven't done interior but after I get that bow fixed i think i'll try it.

This is so much better! You can defenitely see it's a galleon now and no modern cargoship anymore!
