November 5, 200519 yr Here's a scan:http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/sam89/Ex...ce/exoforce.jpg Thanks alot, sam. Those mechas look good :oD cant wait for january ;)
November 5, 200519 yr These sets are very nicely priced. Might just pick up more then the two smallest sets ;)
November 7, 200519 yr When i first heard about this line i was a little worried that the sets may be alittle over the top and not the best for lego to produce but after seeing the pics of the sets im pleased to say that it looks like lego will continue there run of providing us with fun sets.....and the new hair pieces are looking really good to me.
November 7, 200519 yr go mecha go! I can't wait. Exo-Force will definately add inspiration for manga mods like Akira, Ghost In The Shell, Uritsokidju (did I spell this right?) and several other manga movies :oD :oD KimT
November 7, 200519 yr Uritsokidju (did I spell this right?) Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend? I think I'd like to stay away from MOCs of that. Its alittle too X-rated for Lego I think.
November 7, 200519 yr I think I'd like to stay away from MOCs of that. Its alittle too X-rated for Lego I think. Maybe....Guess I was a little too excited there ;) Anyway it opens the door for making awesome mecha MODs without the use of Binicle parts. - [thinking it all started with Titan XP] KimT
November 7, 200519 yr Yeah im surprised lego have given us guns and that was a stretch so i really dont think lego will touch Uritsokidju given its content.
November 7, 200519 yr Urotsukidoji was just demons and people, no vehicles (unless there were sequels after the first 2 I don't know about). And Akira was... well, Kaneda's bike. X D I hope they do that green hair from the chick in black... it's like SO Goku and other popular anime character's hair. EDIT: I stand corrected. Legend of the Overfiend had that cool psycho-energy collection machine with the pistons and the branches where you hook up chicks and... ... eh.... ...yeah. :D Edited November 7, 200519 yr by JINZONINGEN 73
November 7, 200519 yr And Akira was... well, Kaneda's bike. X D Don't forget the scene on the bridge where the Secret Police [or whatever they are] recapture the escapee and takes Tetsuo prisoner....awesome MOC KimT
November 7, 200519 yr I suppose that they could do a chase set from Akira with the bikes but apart from that your right they wouldnt have much else to choose from really. :/
November 7, 200519 yr Talking about Akira...check this out (scroll down; not mine;)) http://www.lowlug.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t...r=asc&start=195
November 7, 200519 yr Here's what I found on brickshelf: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/search.c...ira&stype=f&n=6 I especially like this one:
November 7, 200519 yr Here's what I found on brickshelf:http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/search.c...ira&stype=f&n=6 Whoa! That's is an awesome model of Kaneda's bike *wub* Nice find Kiku KimT
November 8, 200519 yr Wow i really like that bike :oD , it captures the look from the film perfectly.
November 8, 200519 yr I think the blue hair would also be nice in yellow, though I would prefer one that sticks up a bit more. I would like to see a purple mid length hair the color of Zam's outfit for Trunks. I really don't want LEGO to get the DB license because then all the figs would be fleshies *sick*. My one consolation if they did is that I could get Picolo *wub* . Lizardy/frog guys are better than balistic ape men any day. If these do really well in south and west Asia maybe LEGO could finally get a partnership with Nintendo started.
