This is really awesome, I can't wait to see it fully finished. It's a really cool design that reminds me of the ships from the Halo and Alien series. Also very nice detail on the side.

Isn't it surprising when you can build something large, coherent, and actually cool, yet you get no responses, and someone else builds a normal run of the muck spaceship and get loads of responses, praising its amazing build technique, even though there isn't any to be found?

Yeah, I have the same problem. I think it comes down to it's harder to appreciate huge things like this - This section alone probably took the time of 5 - 10 normal small mocs, yet will get half the praise of one of them. It's a huge sacrifice, and yes, It does suck.

It really is not easy building such a large thing, such as a scale of this. It's not easy making it coherent, interesting, making it look not cobbled.

But this thing is very awesome even just so far. I am waiting for more and more progress on it. The greebles are very pleasing, and I especially like the barrels you made.

And a question; how many floors will this have? It looks large enough for up to three, or will it just be one?

Well you asked for it.

I am glad to see it has become another studless space effort. LEGO is the stud and it burns my eyes to see builders ignore them. It is sad to see so much of this without studs though.

The interior is very spacious and gray. I am not sure what type of design you wanted but it seems empty. Personally, if I had to live in space on a ship for months or years at a time I would want it to be a little more home-like or at least comforting. Gray and open says prison yard, cement corridor, or metal box to me. Obviously, if this is a military ship them the plain and boring fits well.

The outside is divided into an interesting section and a boring section. I am not sure why a vessel of an kind would expose whatever the greebles are meant to represent unless they need to be exposed in which case, this shoud not be a military craft. I know that adding that sort of stuff makes it look

"pretty" but why all the pretty parts on the outside instead of the inside where the figures are? The color scheme is somewhat bland but perhaps that is the goal.

There are nice details throughout. The main walkway marked by yellow inside, the turret, the ladder, and the little angled window up top are all nice bits.

I can't say what I would do if this were mine because it is not my building stlye. I would have used more color, shrunk the size, armored the whole of the outside, decorated the whole of the inside or made it more comfortable, and would have added loads more transparent parts everywhere especially in or around the guns. In other words, I would start from scratch.

You are not me though. I would like to see more of the ship completed of at least get an idea of what it will look like when finished.

MOC on!

I agree. This is absolutely incredible. But I wonder if that kind of disregard stems from the fact that it's really hard to capture just how impressive large MOCs are with pictures? I mean, a smaller MOC can have a few intimately arranged photos of it and its meaning is conveyed, but the larger MOCs are just a lot more to appreciate and thus may go unappreciated? I'm not sure, but I've noticed this as well.

An amazing work. The details as well as the smoothness on the outside and for the interior looks

beautiful balanced to me, and I really like the color scheme too. Most impressive...

Here you go, this is my current train of thought. It certainly has changed since the origional drawing 4 years ago, what was i thinking back then... nacelles... five floors... well this version is as i said my current idea.

Wow. That wing-like structure looks beautiful. From your concept art I can see that this is an enormous project indeed.

It looks very fine yet but there´s still a lot of work to do... godspeed!

Looks fantastic, I love the shape of it. It's much easier to see it as a spacecraft with the concept art as well. If the whole ship's up to the same standards then this willl undoubtedly be a truely outstanding MOC.

The shape is beginning to look awesome and daunting. Concept art is definitely win aswell.

I don't know how you did it, but it seems like there's tons of flat open planes of single color bricks on the thing, yet the whole thing still manages to be interesting.

I've been at a standstill on my own work too. But it's great to see progress on this.
