Wow, the set turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Shame there wasn't a close p of Dooku I wanted to see the new minifg and after so much talk about it in the review I was a little disappointed. Thanks for sharing  .

Great review Nannan! :classic: Is it possible to get a close-up of Count Dooku? If I ever got this set, which I probably won't, it would be for the Count Dooku fig.....especially his hair..... :wub:So many possibilities.....

Thanks a lot for the awesome review Nannan  . I think this set is very good even if it doesn´t have the actual "sail" it is supposed to have. The minifigs are great especially that awesome Count Dooku (For some reason I think is the best looking CW minifig and it actually looks very good in CW style :cry_happy: ). The design looks sleek a lot more than people thought when the first pic showed up. The only think that is worng is the price tag :hmpf_bad: . C´mon TLC 60 bucks for just a little more of 300 pieces  ? Even with Dooku and been exclusive deserves that price tag  . I will get this set cause I am a collector but I certainly like it (Maybe the best set from the January-February wave). I just suggest to add pics of the minifigs  (I especially want to look a close up of the Dooku minifig (If you get a front and a back shot then that even better :sweet: ).

Wow I've been waiting for this review for a while now, thanks a lot. The price is the only thing that discourages me of getting this. It's a great set but is it really wroth the sixty.

$60 for 384 pieces?! Seriously?!?!

Wow, that must be the highest price per piece of any set so far this year, isn't it? :sceptic:

Yeah, but in Sweden it´s around $90. :hmpf_bad: Now that´s expensive!

a pic from the figs might be useful...

otherwise: great review!!

Yup. I don't get how this was released early, but oh well! Great set, though Dooku has terrible hair!!! Thanks for the review, I'll be getting this in February!

(Even thoguh I estimated this to be $50!)

For those requesting close-ups of the figs, I've added the images to the review post. The Brickshelf gallery that contained more pictures are not yet public.

Nannan remarked that the set was marked as $59.99 at Toys R Us, which could have marked up the price as they often do. I would bet that Lego.com will sell the Sailer for $49.99, which is not a great price, but not an awful one either.

I guess one bright side to the high pricing is the possibility of sales or clearances, as we saw with TRU taking 30% off the Twilight this year. I know I would pay $40 for this set, but not $50 or $60.

Great review!

This set goes at € 79,99 on shop.lego.com in the Netherlands.

Its €59.99 in Ireland (one of the few recently released sets that actually cheaper than most of Europe) and only STG£39.15 in LS@H UK (well under €50 although the STG£/euro exchange rate has moved rapidly in past week). UK is best place to buy Lego in Europ at the moment.

Thank you for you great review, Nannan! ) :sweet::thumbup:

Well, I will definitely buy this set if it is available here, and buy the figs via BrickLink if not....

But, still.... Well, I don't really like Dooku here.

04.jpg

I mean, his head is good and so on, but the problem is that I don't really like how he's been done in CW cartoons.... To me he was always been a galant and "thoughtful" type, if you know what I mean. In the cartoons he's shown in quite a different way. :sceptic:

And I don't really like that hairpiece, still, I guess I'll have to look at the fig in reality in order to make up my mind. ) :classic:

The ship itself is nothing special to me. Only for collection.... )

Good day, gentlemen! ) :sweet:

Nannan, a very fine review indeed. I do love this set, for the very fact that Count Dooku is inside this set, along with its speeder and ship. For another good reason for me, I did not buy the magma starfighter, and this set come along with its guards. I could not see any reason not to get this to add to my CW collection. :classic:

I feel that Dooku looks VERY good if wearing the supplied hood. It fits his menacing face very nicely. Although i do agree with the general consensus with that new hair piece. I suppose that it looks out of place considering that it should have been for the new Palpatine figure.

Thanks Nannan! I've been dying to see some close up photos of the set.

Great Review, very well done

Now, this review persuade me more and more to buy this great set. And I love the new Dooku Minifigure, because it should look's like the Dooku from the series...and it does.

So again thanks for your review, and a little question: Where do you get this set(or is the reason, your Ambassador job)?
