CopMike Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 What do you want? When is it enough to make you satisfied? Listen, you came here to share your side of the issue. Fine, excellent - no problem with that. I see it, being an Ambassador I bring it to the involved people over at TLG. She comes here and give an answer. Now it gets interesting - what do YOU want more? A longer answer? An apology? Or just to get people to tell there stories? You instead start off by accusing TLG to call me to stop the issue, that´s insulting to me also. If you want more answers etc - PLEASE take the advice and start up your own conversation with TLG by phone or mail. Extremely more efficient than going back and forth in this forum. If you don´t want more answers well then YOUR story is told, and YES - others can tell there stories. But then YOU have to let people that have a different experiences/opinons have there say without you bashing them. I don't see any problems that we hear more experiences related to mine like Greedo told us. But ofcourse we must remember this place is full of fans who swear to Lego's name no matter what would happend. And telling them a bad expierience is like sticking your head into bees nest if you don't mind.I honestly belive there must be more than what you´ve written here about the issue - you seem so full of hate & bad feelings about TLG, and you stick it to people like me who tries to help/have another opinion than you or just try to keep the thread friendly & constructive. Please keep posting and discussing, but tone down the guy with a pitch fork on your left shoulder and listen to the guy in a white robe on the right a bit more ! LegoBuster Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 To Mikecop: Please calm down and try not to twist what I have said or make completely wrong interpretition of them. Quote
CopMike Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 To Mikecop:Is that suppose to be CopMike by any chance?I´m cool as a , don´t worry. So, what is your opinion on what I wrote? Because it was an answer to your questions and propositions. BTW, is pretty good, the album that is, not the govertment style. CopMike Quote
Zorro Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 CopMike is not trying to twist anything, he is just stating his opinion about this just as you and anyone else has the right to do. And I think you are the one misinterpreting him, in more then one way. He has been chosen by this community as well and in no way only does what LEGO tells him to do, that is not the task of ambassadors, their task is to represent people like you and me towards the LEGO company, and I think he is doing a fine job. He read your story, understood your grieves and made a call to the representative, who even came down here to give you an answer. If you are unsatisfied with this, good, just contact her or another representative again, or even make a formal complaint to them. But honestly, I don't see what more you can or want to achieve here on this forum, you told your story, you've gotten an answer and the ability to discuss this further. That is what I would do, being an AFOL. And Hollisbrick, re-read and re-think before you post in sensitive threads like these:wink: ...I know its not badly intended, but your post can so easily be misunderstood . Quote

I said a simple thing, Can we, Or can we not have an open conversation here on both negative and positive expererices. That's all I had to say. Quote
Hinckley Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Zorro, Please don't try to take this thread and conversation to siderails and out of topic.I said a simple thing, Can we, Or can we not have an open conversation here on both negative and positive expererices. That's all I had to say. This topic is still open, isn't it? We're all trying to talk you down and keep you laid back and rational. I've pleaded to your better senses twice. There are negative and positive topics alike all over the place on this site. Where do you see otherwise? I'm asking you to be rational so you can resolve the issue and not be confrontational with other members. You can have as many problems with TLG as you like. I have problems with TLG. I don't think they're perfect. I just ask that people voice them in a rational and civil manner. Quote

Lego12 Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Wow, I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, but you don't have to act like that. Cool down! Anyways, I hope you get this figured out. Quote
LegoBuster Posted January 17, 2009 Author Posted January 17, 2009 This topic is still open, isn't it? Yep. Thanks Quote
Hinckley Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 Yep. Thanks You're welcome! Everyone do me a favor. I know it feels like we should step in and help CopMike out, but let's lay off. LegoBuster had a very frustrating experience and it's best to just let our Ambassador handle it. Send LegoBuster your love! Quote
hollisbrick Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 And Hollisbrick, re-read and re-think before you post in sensitive threads like these:wink: ...I know its not badly intended, but your post can so easily be misunderstood . Ahh yes, I thought that would come back and bite me My bad BTW, is pretty good, the album that is, not the govertment style.CopMike It's alright, I was expecting more after waiting all this time Personelly with events like these I've only had good experiences! Every school holidays they used to have a building comp. where you would have 20 minutes to build something and for a week they wuld have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd but only 1st and 2nd would go the the finals which were on that up and comming Saturday (I got there twice ) and it would always work out great! The only bad thing was that they stopped comming Quote
SuvieD Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Well since I know LEGO reads this particular thread I will now openly state something of potential value for myself and possibly for others. In the event you do more charity work which involves travel of any kind, a short or lengthy period of time to refund my expenses, and one in which I recieve free LEGO products on top of it all, please feel free to contact me immediately with details. I will gladly go through any such effort whether delayed or not. It would after all benefit three separate parties: LEGO, myself (travel/free sets), and most importantly as a charity for others. If there is a temporary expense on my part I would be happily pay it for such an experience. I sorry it didn't work out for LegoBuster but I will gladly accept an opening in his postion next year in Finland or any other opening in Europe or worldwide for that matter. So Camilla, if you have anything for me feel free to let me know! I enjoy chairty work, love travel, and have worked for years with young people in which I was often reimbursed late if at all, I am a perfect candidate for your program. Quote
Buttons Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I see it this way: The story has been told The issue has been delt with If any further problems arise then they should be delt with directly with TLG through Camilla And in my opinion I think the topic should be closed Buttons Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 (edited) The fact is peoples opinions need to be aired so shutting down this thread would only bring another one open later on. Besides, trust in our Ambassadors /Mods /Admin's choice. We are no one to judge their actions. I tend to think they know what they are doing Perhaps we should revisit a thread about ice cube trays Regards, Cpt. PB Edited January 19, 2009 by Cpt. Pegleg Blockbeard Quote

MetroiD Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 not the 'cube incident, oh lord, not the ice cube tray thread!MATT oooh I missed that... I guess I'm going to have to use the forum's "Search" option and check out what THAT was about ;] Now, regarding this conversation - obviously someone had a bad experience since someone else could not really handle the situation in a timely fashion. It happens to us all (being on both sides of the story), so I think we all should try and show some understanding. Fair enough, sometimes you are left wondering if things would eventually have worked out for you at all had you not been insistant as hell... But well, such things happen. At the end of the day, all's well that ends well, thanks for the heads up, LegoBuster, but let's not make too big a deal out of it. There are far too many big and well respected companies out there who just have a hard time responding to all their clients' grievances and obviously LEGO makes no exception. Which brings to me a question which is more or less relevant to this here thread... A month ago I sent an e-mail to LEGO Customer Service via their online form. I am yet to receive a reply - that is, if I ever do. However, since it contained a few questions which are of concern to me, I wanted to ask you guys whether anyone of you had used the website feedback form @ lego.com to contact Customer Service and had their grievances / problems dealt with? Or at least - did you get a response from a LEGO representative? Quote
Colonel Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Write again... I normally call them toll free by phone - but in your case it is not possible according to this text from the LEGO Homepage: At this time, we do not offer telephone support for your country. However, if you use our Contact Us Email form and write in English, we'll do our best to respond to your email. Quote
