tin7_creations Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 (edited) I created a whole bunch of Disney figureheads during Summer 2006, and I never got around to completing them. Now, I finally got around to ordering parts on BrickLink, and they've been arriving, so I have started creating my Disney Minifig Collection. First up are 3 minifigs from 2 Disney movies: Aladdin (1992) & Tarzan (1999). These pictures are really crappy (thanks to the 100kb restriction, for better pictures check out my flickr). Aladdin: The decals were my own creation. The hat is made with Sculpey and glued on (highly regret it, but I have 3 copies of that hair, so I guess the glued one went to a good cause). Tarzan & Jane: I think these two minifigs will be the only ones to use entirely original LEGO parts. For more, see my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/ Edited December 17, 2010 by tin7_creations Quote
LuxorV Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Very nice customs, especially the Aladin one These pictures are really crappy (thanks to the 100kb restriction, for better pictures check out my flickr). You don't necessarly have to post pictures as attachments, you know. You can deeplink them (so we can see them directly here) or post a link to the gallery (as you already know). If you need help with deeplinking images, look here Just remember to keep your pics under the 800 x 600 limit LuxorV Quote

Also, you'll be seeing a lot of your decal creations appearing soon too, I have the whole Princess thing planned out etc etc. Quote
BrickheadProductions Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Haha, very cool. I love the Aladdin. I actually custom-bought a Tarzan minifig from a store on bricklink last year with the intention of making a brickfilm with him. He isn't based on the Disney version though... Here he is if anyone's interested: Good work, I applaud your sculpting skills! Quote

The version of Tarzan @ Disneyland has a "fur garment" strapped across his shoulder. I actually wanted to try it out to see what it would look like, but didn't really come across any "LEGO-sized" shoulder strap garments. Quote
BrickheadProductions Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 It's just a pattern printed on some fuzzy-ish paper. I got a sheet with about ten more on it as replacements for free when i bought the minifig, as well as a few more torso decals. Quote
