commdr_neyo Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I picked up a Clone battlepack a few months ago, and my Clone Gunner had the helmet printing backwards. I put in a request to Lego saying I had a defective part, and they sent me a regular clone helmet :(Oh well, may do something with it when I get around to making my diorama That is one awesome misprint! I sort of want misprints on some of my figs. I would probably still ask for a replacement ( ), so it's kinda an extra part Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 (edited) Has anyone ever gotten a Stormtrooper with a moustache? I've seen these alot in the older sets before they made the new version with the lines in grey. Would the eye changing clone heads look good in a brickfilm looking back and forth? My Chewbacca minifig had a belt(?) that was a little off. Edited March 14, 2010 by indianajones Quote

All the clones looking in different directions is pretty handy for brickfilms I think. I think the Chewy misprint is pretty common, on of mine has it too (the other one has a headpiece, that's pretty weird ). Quote
YouKnowMe Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I haven't noticed any misprints on my minifigs, except for the occasional smudge or miscolourings on some of my Stormtroopers' helmets. I was prompted by seeing all these Clone misprints to check through my (small) collection of CW Clones. There weren't many problems with mine, except for a few lines smaller or larger than normal. I also noticed one particular clone had a darker eye colour, and one or two weren't looking directly forward.I don't really mind, though, because I care more about the helmets than the heads inside, and I'll probably replace them with black heads so they can fit in with my other Clones/Stormtroopers. =P Do you realise that his might be the most epic misprint of all time? Quote
Golbolco Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Also, I noticed my jet troopers had smaller-than-average mouths. Does anybody else have clones like this? I have one like that, except it was in the aat and it was looking straight forward. Quote
RileyC Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Its pretty disappointing they only sent you a normal clone helmet TheDarkness. I reckon he would be great in a kamino cloning facility vignette Quote
CommanderFox Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 TheDarkness, that has to be one of the best mis-prints ever! Really impressive! CommanderFox Quote
Spyder Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Wow, that really is the best misprint ever, The Darkness! I'm sure you want to keep it, (I would too) but it would fetch a hefty price on Ebay. Quote
The Legonater Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Half my Stormtrooper's grill patterns are higher than they should be. Quote
Big Cam Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Not sure if it's a misprint or not, but when comparing the magnet chrome trooper to the polybag chrome trooper, I found that the back printing was off on the ,agnet version. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I think the Chewy misprint is pretty common, on of mine has it too (the other one has a headpiece, that's pretty weird ). The other what has a headpiece? Chewy? Quote
CMP Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 Darkness, that is, the best misprint in history. Keep it. Show it off. Brag baout it. Blog about it. Show it to the world!!! Quote
sok117 Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 The other what has a headpiece? Chewy? Chewbacca, and he's not talking about chewy, he's talking about chewy's misprint, so it is grammatically correct to use the word the because he is not talking about a person. Quote
not-in-use-anymore Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) I was just shortening Chewbacca's name, I thought for a while that it was pretty well known . Though I don't understand what headpiece has the misprint, Chewbacca doesn't have a stud on his head. Edited March 24, 2010 by indianajones Quote
Klay Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Sorry for reviving this topic, I just wanted to share my misprint. It's a stormtrooper body, and the front of the torso is a stormtrooper torso, but the back is the back of a Epi. 3 clone trooper. I'll post some pics soon. Quote

Clone Unicorn Trooper, I can't wait to see how this will be used in your diorama if he gets used at all. Quote
General Armendariz Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 (edited) I'm pretty sure this is a common misprint, considering the original line has lots of misprints. But I have here on the left one of my two Qui Gon's beard looks half shaven His eyes look a bit cross-eyed too. Sorry for the bump Edited June 13, 2010 by General Armendariz Quote
bennythebear Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I certainty found out that clone trooper actually looks left or right. But that's also good to me! Now that there are a few clones looking forward, I can rank them as captains, commanders, lieutenant... Don't have to worry about the rest of the clones... It's fair.... It's a common thing! Quote

Welcome to EB! You might want to try looking at the past posts before you post - the 'Looking Clone Misprint' is extremely common and has been mentioned many times already by various sites. Quote
The Legonater Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 Sorry for the bump Sheesh, you people are terrible at this aren't you ? Quote
ThatGuyWithTheBricks Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 It brings the question that maybe TLG made those clone heads on purpose? Also, is it TLG or TLC? Quote
-JD- Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 It brings the question that maybe TLG made those clone heads on purpose? Also, is it TLG or TLC? Perhaps. Or the heads slip slightely in that part of the printing process. TLC- The LEGO Company TLG- The LEGO Group So I think it's either depending on the context. Quote
