Brickthing Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Wow, that Battledroid is so much more posable than the original. Is suppose it must be a super Super Battle Droid! It doesn't look that similar to the original though, but I suppose that would be fixed it it was the same colour. You should replace all the light grey with dark grey or gun-metal grey wherever possible. Quote
Oky Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hm... Kinda looks like a steampunk version of a SBD. Neat posableness, though. "HEIL PALPATINE!!!" Quote
AwesomeStar Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 You got the head right I agree with Oki. Looks steampunk-ish. Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Great job! The possibility makes it far superior to the original. Quote
Rh3ttyC Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Looks lovely! And a great photography technique with that Jedi's arm! It kinda looks like it's bent more than a normal 'fig's arm! Quote
Capt. Kirk Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Very nice... For me it looks better than the original... looks more Lego-ish But like '3D Brickthing' said: build it in the same colour and it's a winner for me Quote
KimT Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 And on this one, the leg pin doesn't break Quote
winbrant Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) I like it! Almost looks like a cross between a Super Battle Droid, a BSG Cylon Centurion, and The Iron Giant... Edited January 20, 2009 by winbrant Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 And on this one, the leg pin doesn't break That wasn't just happening to me? oh what a relief! Good MOC, I think the head needs a little more... headness in it though. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Really nice MOC. I like that it is more poseable than the official one which makes this one really great. Amazing job . Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Random side note: Qui Gon with SBD's? He died long before then. I like the incline body pose. And especially the bendy arms gun-up one. Quote
NewRight Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Brickbuilt will always prevail over pre-molded! Fantastic work in proving this. Quote
Millacol88 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 That looks good. Its obviously not as detailed as the TLC version, but I geuss its a good alternative because you can get the parts for cheap. Them thing that really makes it great is the posability though. Keep up the great work! Quote
Geopolis Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I love the head. This B2 super battle droid won't get leg-broken as soon as you touch legs and body together... Great, great MOC! Quote
KimT Posted January 24, 2009 Posted January 24, 2009 This is one awesome SBD. Thanks for sharing it with the rest of us. Indexed and frontpaged for all to enjoy. Quote
