Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Things I think we've learned from all this:1. The sunglasses face is the closest thing to a classic smile but with sunglasses, so it's probably the only 'alternate' face we'll ever see. I don't think that makes the fed we saw Dragonateri. Doesn't mean he isn't one, but I don't think we'd be given anything that simple. 2. The feds aren't killing us, I don't even think they're beating us up. You know, it's seemed obvious from the start and I think this confirms it. They could have just killed the whole lot of you or tried beating a confession out of someone. No one came back hurt. 3. Someone in that last group is a rat. Plain and simple. Until we get together as a group and vote, we aren't going to stop any of this. We need to pick a likely target and go for it. I have one in mind. I'm going to double check on some things and may make an official announcement later, if I think there is the potential for enough support of it. 1. Excellent point, something I alluded to earlier 2. Not everybody has spoken since returning, someone could yet be hurt. 3. Amen -meaning - In this I truely believe - I have some one in mind as well, I wonder if our suspicions are the same. I will await your theory. Mine is rather simple, five people are in this group. So there is a one in five chance one is a rat. Looking at the group split there is two wives, two captains and a made man. Seeing as there is a total of six wives, six captains and five made men the chances are as follows (Assuming a rat is in each group) 1 in 5 + 1 in 3 (2 in 6), that the rat is a Wife, (1 in 4) 1 in 5 + 1 in 3 (2 in 6), that the rat is a Captain (1 in 4) 1 in 5 + 1 in 5, that the rat is a Made man (1 in 5) That to me makes it down to the wives, (as I know I am not a rat (chances of Dickie is 1 in 5 (1 in 5 + 1 in 5). The wives are also rather sketchy at times. I suspect Wynona more than Zabrina. If you need to know why PM me and I will decide whether I can trust you with the information. Hope that all makes sense. Let me know if my logic is off.
Hinckley Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 Iris stops by to remind everyone: "Half of the day is gone and you have plenty of clues to go off of..."
Shadows Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Iris stops by to remind everyone:"Half of the day is gone and you have plenty of clues to go off of..." Yes, Iris. We know, Iris. Thank you, Iris. Mmmm, your legs are looking mighty fine today, Iris, and I'm getting hungry. It is lunch time and all...
MagPiesRUs Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I'm starting to lean towards Wynona myself. I've already stated why I trust Perry and Dickie, and Zabrina and Trexxisanti's story sounds plausible. The only one who I don't have a reason to trust is Wynona. Looking back at her posts (err... of life?... ), most of them are short and a little dubious, one even suggesting we kill an innocent. I will reserve my judgement until we've heard from everyone involved in the operation however.

Looking back at her posts (err... of life?... ), most of them are short and a little dubious, one even suggesting we kill an innocent. I'm starting to feel the same way. Well, I was before that little power outage in Moonlight, but with it's return, I think I'm feeling like we need to start somewhere and this may be it. Wynona, can you give us anything to defend yourself? The day is half over, it isn't the time for silence, if you want to see a new dawn.

I'm not sure you're a Rat, but you're also quick to push suspicion onto the others. Also, you seem to know or believe to know a lot about the FBI's operations, I'm not too sure you're that loyal too, plus, you're new to the family, makes sense that the Feds would be able to place you in here knowing that someone might not suspect you because your brother is there to back you up.
Quarryman Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Hmm, intriguing idea. I'm pretty sure that if we vote off Wynona we will at least learn something, whether she's a rat or not. (but I too suspect that she's like to be one).

First, I have not removed myself from suspicion at all, just from my reasoning , It would make little sense to how I got to my conclusion otherwise, correct? Second, I had a suspicion and voiced it... If none of us did this we would not have a game! Third, what operations do I know about? All I know is what I have been told. My brother and I joined at the same time so I do not know what you are alluding to. Let me point out our "short" involvement gives the Feds little to blackmail us with. How long have you been in the family? Remember your last name is not Baritone either... I am not convinced you are loyal. I am not convinced you are a rat (you are in my extensive unsorted pile ). I must question, why have you come out and said all this yet disregard what I said about Wynona. Are you shifting the focus? I say very limited information for protection of others, I speak of what I am confident of. You should know I have been careful with the information I know, just as you have been.

No. I'm not shifting the focus, in fact I'm really suspicious of Wynona, I'm waiting until she comments on her plight before I go convicting her. I've been here a long time. I joined when I was only 15! That's about 25 years as a loyal Baritone, my track record proves it. I'm not sure you're a Rat yet... Completely, but it would be good reasoning to say that you were easily swayed before you became a Baritone, We don't know much about you.
Admiral Blockbeard Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 No. I'm not shifting the focus, in fact I'm really suspicious of Wynona, I'm waiting until she comments on her plight before I go convicting her.I've been here a long time. You say that is your history, I guess we have to take your word on it... So by what you say I am not a rat but a plant... I would of thought Iris has better recruiting than that! I must say you look and dress young for a forty(ish) year old
Wouwie Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 So you all want to kill me? Based on what evidence? I don't see any evidence against me....Or maybe I'm blind Anyways, do what you think is good...

I don't see any evidence against me....Or maybe I'm blind Anyways, do what you think is good... Based on many bits of evidents, chance and an all round feeling... My vote is not in yet, I await more incoming information yet. We will do what we think is good. :skull:
Wouwie Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Please don't kill me! Please! Please? Willie...Tell them the truth, I ain't a rat!
Shadows Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Please don't kill me! Please! Please? Willie...Tell them the truth, I ain't a rat! That was a sudden turnaround from "Anyways, do what you think is good..." Just give us something to believe in. We're reasonable people. I mean, it's not like we're a bunch of killers and criminals or something.
Jlblue Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I do think that we should get something done today. Honestly I think Wynona is being suspected for much the same reasoning as Richie was: something about their post count being "suspicious." I doubt that means anything.
WhiteFang Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Seriously, why do you guys actually think that my wife is a rat. For goodness sake, she is my dear wife and I don't think she is capable of betray us all, and even betray my love for her. Although I can't be 100% certain of her alignment, but I could defintely use our marriage as a basis of mutual trust and understanding. Wynona, you have nothing to hide at all, tell them what you know and I am sure they are understanding enough to listen with their calm minds.
Sir Dillon Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I have to agree about the suspicions regarding Wynona. I don't have any solid evidence, but I'm willing to vote for her if that's what we decide to do.

I don't have any solid evidence, but I'm willing to vote for her if that's what we decide to do. Voting for Wynona would let us learn something, whether she's guilty or not. So I'm all for it.
Zepher Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Well all, Ian and I have been discussing things, combining our thoughts and all, ya' know? We think we almost know a rat, but I'm just waiting for that dear man to send me a final.. Potato Message? Pidgeon Message? Oh well.
Lego12 Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Wow......I'm gone for lunch and boom, we're all accusing Wyona..... I've been getting Postal messages like never before! We have plenty of clues? Where are these damn clues!?!
Zepher Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 That's it. Enough hiding. Enough waiting. Enough guessing. It's time to lay out all we each know on the table. ..or not. It's an idea. How does everyone feel about it? Should we? Can we?

I'm sure it will be most interesting.
Alice Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 I'd like to hear your thoughts Zabrina. I've said from my initial post that I think Perry raises some suspicions. He knows too much about the rats. Wynona also seems a possible suspect. I'm not sure I'd like her dead just yet because I have conflicting information about her. Willie sure didn't jump to her rescue very quickly and she doesn't seem to have much of a case for herself either.
Shadows Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Looking very much forward to hear what you have to say. I'm sure it will be most interesting. It wasn't as exciting as one would hope for. I'm set on Wynona right now, I think it's both a good possibility and a fair test, and Zabrina seems to be focusing on someone else. This is a tough game ... of life.
Jlblue Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 At this point I'm fairly confident that it doesn't matter "how long people have been around," nor "hierarchy". I would think a lot of it is mostly done randomly on a basis of who the FBI just happens to be able to blackmail. I doubt they would do it systematically, making the newbies all rats. In fact, I don't even think all of the captains are that much newer to the biz then the Made Men are. Plenty of the captains have been around a while. If you remember, Perry told a story of when he first joined: We got into the family back after that Darline came into town, all I can say is Johny blue eyes over there was nearly shot during a job. We showed up at the same gig saved his life from the pigs and legged. Those were quite the days. No rats, back then. Though my hair looked ridiculous back then, and now my hair is pristine. Ain't that right, Perry? All the work I spend on this hair sure paid off, no?
