January 21, 200916 yr Actually I like the impulse sets very much, but Some battle packs will be great! Like three soldiers one officer And a cannon and lots of eccessories!
January 21, 200916 yr Instead of the crappy impulse set. What do you think? I like the impulse sets. While they don't offer as much variety, you get every three weapons plus accessories for each figure.
January 21, 200916 yr Author Actually I like the impulse sets very much, but Some battle packs will be great! Like tree soldiers one officer And a cannon and lots of eccessories! Lets fix that post up. Actually, I like the impulse sets very much, but some battle packs will be great! Like three soldiers, one officer, and a cannon and lots of accessories! But, I think maybe 4 soldiers. Not too many accessories, that will make it too expensive.
January 21, 200916 yr Governor Yes, all hail Imperial Guard battle packs! I'd like 6 soldiers but what would that do to the price?
January 21, 200916 yr Yes, all hail Imperial Guard battle packs!I'd like 6 soldiers but what would that do to the price? That would probably make it go up by 5$ and in euros probably 3 I think.
January 21, 200916 yr I wish the battlepacks would be like the star war battle backs. I would like: 4 Soldiers 1 Cannon and a minifig to operate it 1 Officer Edited January 21, 200916 yr by Neptune
January 22, 200916 yr I would like an Imperial Battlepack with- 3 soldiers 1 admiral 2 cannons 1 small outpost I would also like to see a Pirate Battlepack with- 3 pirates 1 captain 1 cannon 1 raft a small island on a blue 8x8 plate, with a green 6x6 plate on top. January 22, 200916 yr Yes, this would be incredible if they put this out. Who knows? What with the rumors of the Pirate Advent Calendar. We may very well have something like this, as it looks like the Pirate line is going to keep going for a while.
January 22, 200916 yr Screw pirates, lets just make a lego napolionic-wars theme! i like the impulse packs because they come with backpacks and a bunch of weapons. but i would love some battle packs, i wish lego took peoples suggestions!
January 22, 200916 yr Financially, it'd be a stupid idea for Lego. The impulses sell like hot-cakes and Lego would much rather sell figures for $3.50 than 4 for $10.
January 22, 200916 yr I wish lego took peoples suggestions! That's a little harsh - all you have to do is look at the new castle set 10193 Medieval Market Village to see that they do listen. The impulses sell like hot-cakes and Lego would much rather sell figures for $3.50 than 4 for $10. Then can you explain the Star Wars battle packs? And when was the last time you saw such a big forum and definative data-base dedicated to hotcakes?
January 22, 200916 yr Then can you explain the Star Wars battle packs? And when was the last time you saw such a big forum and definative data-base dedicated to hotcakes? well, there are no impulse packs for Star Wars so the battle packs are the smallest sets available. that's your explanation. =)
January 22, 200916 yr Yes, LEGO should make sets like the 6252 and 6251 - I own both by the way... That would be great - 4 or 5 minifigs with weapons and why not 1 animal too.
January 22, 200916 yr I wish they'd also make minifig packs like Nikola Bathory said. Just let them include all the different torso's and heads, so I won't have to buy the sets (or overpriced BL minifigs, I really hope they drop to a more realistic price when they are released worldwide, now it's just a rip-off)
January 22, 200916 yr Then can you explain the Star Wars battle packs? And when was the last time you saw such a big forum and definative data-base dedicated to hotcakes? If Lego was allowed to sell Star Wars impulses, they wouldn't have battlepacks...and they'd most likely be making quite a bit more money. And everybody loves hotcakes. :P Edited January 22, 200916 yr by MillerTime
January 22, 200916 yr If Lego was allowed to sell Star Wars impulses, they wouldn't have battlepacks...and they'd most likely be making quite a bit more money. Castle has both impulses and battle packs.
January 22, 200916 yr Castle does have impulse sets but I wouldn't really call sets like "Crossbow Attack" or "Kings Catapult Defence" battle packs. But if I could have a battle pack, I would include, 5 soldiers 1 officer 1 admiral/governor.
January 23, 200916 yr Castle has both impulses and battle packs. True but those are $13 and they are only figures with no accessories...I was thinking more along the lines of a SW battlepack.
January 23, 200916 yr I'm hoping for battle packs too. I'g go with five troops and like others said with parts to make one a officer or a admiral if wanted. This way I could build companies without so many officers. For a arty battle pack I like 3 cannon and 3 limber and accessories. I'd leave out the horses and troops to keep the price down. Plus you could use the troop battle pack for the red legs any way.
January 23, 200916 yr Castle does have impulse sets but I wouldn't really call sets like "Crossbow Attack" or "Kings Catapult Defence" battle packs. No, I'm talking about the sets literally called Knights Battle Pack and Skeletons Battle Pack. 5 figures and accessories.
January 23, 200916 yr Governor well, there are no impulse packs for Star Wars so the battle packs are the smallest sets available.that's your explanation. =) Ah, but there were both Castle Impulse and Castle Battle Packs in Northern America last year - so explain that!
