Guss Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 Very nice ship Slyowl, I love how you used the big brown pieces to make a "lightning captor" , and the rock part of the boat, the junction with the hull is awesome , looks like a rock has grown on the boat! ^^ how does the inclined part of the "cage" stands ? it's just "put" on it ? I mean in this picture : the black inclined part with 1x1 slopes on top must fall everytime you move it , doesn't it ? Quote
SlyOwl Posted February 4, 2009 Author Posted February 4, 2009 Thanks Guss ^^ how does the inclined part of the "cage" stands ? it's just "put" on it ? I mean in this picture :the black inclined part with 1x1 slopes on top must fall everytime you move it , doesn't it ? Yup, they're just balanced, although there's a fair amount of friction, so it can withstand light knocks. I did experiment with an elastic band around the whole ship, and over the rib, and it held the black parts in well, but I don't have enough bands Quote
Huntleyfx Posted February 4, 2009 Posted February 4, 2009 An excellent work, but how exactly does a rock float? Is it Cavorite? Quote

TenorPenny Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 The figs all look full of character, which only compliments your sound construction and design. Nice work! Quote
