You must be wondering what I am talking about, well I noticed something worth thinking about. Do you notice that Ahsoka and starkiller both carry their lightsaber backwards. As in when they ignit the blade is facing the other way, strange isn't it! :oh3: What do you think? :look:

I will post pics soon...

Yes i noticed it as soon as i saw her.

There was also a scene in an early episode, i think when they sent the y-wings to bomb the Malevolence, they show Anakin looking out at the star like Vader did in one of the movies, its of Anakin and Ashoka, also a scene you see in TFU, i believe after killing Shaak Ti.

And you are referring to Shien form.

That shows both Ashoka and Starkiller.

Also known as hell stance, holding a sword up is pointing to heaven, holding it down is hell.

Thats an interesting observation, I didn't notice it. I don't know why they would give Ahsoka the "hell" stance though. Since this isn't actually about lego, shouldn't this be in culture and multimedia?

Yup, I noticed it.

Looks like Anakin likes to teach his apprentices the Shien form.

More likely, this is a new trend amongst SW character designers: trying to find new ways for Jedis to hold their lightsaber. And seeing the popularity of TFU, they must have decided to give Ahsoka the same Lightsaber holding trait as Starkiller's.

Thanks for pointing this out, but next time you should post such things in the proper thread.

New question: Did you notice that the Lego Ahsoka is never shown holding her lightsaber this way?

Um its not Anakin who taught her that, its how she holds it, the stupid jedi see it as a bad stance, but its actually very effective against a large group of enemies.

I don't think there is anything to it, she is sort of a "rebel" does things how she thinks instead of the jedi way, i mean after all Vader used V form which is more traditional jedi stance.

Only thing i don't like about it, is you cant get the lego pieces to hold it that way.

It's bacially the equivalent of holding a lightsaber "gangsta style". The fact both the Apprentice and Ahsoka use it seems to have been an attempt to make them cool, rather than it having any deep meaning or significance.

Probably Yoda

Exactly! Cause if you listen to Obi Wan at 4:30 in this scene, you'll see that Ahsoka is still a youngling when she meets Anakin, so she couldn't have had a prievious master other than Yoda. And I'm pretty sure that it wasn't Yoda who told her to use that stance. But judging from her frequent quotations of the stuff from the Jedi Archives, I'm guessing that she read about it and, being a rebel at heart, decided to use it.

And then, later on, Anakin learns that this stance is an effective one by observing Ahsoka, so he teaches it to Starkiller. That's my guess at least.

Why the heck not? :look: It's really easy actually. Just take the lightsaber out of the minifig's hand, turn it 180 degrees, and reattach it to the hand. Of course they can't point it straight down, but they can hold it behind their back and on their side and stuff. Besides, having them point it down would look stupid/lame anyway. So, I don't see a problem.

If it's not LEGO, please post it in Culture & Media. If this is LEGO, which I couldn't tell for sure, please accept my apologies and PM me to move it back... Thanks.

Also known as hell stance, holding a sword up is pointing to heaven, holding it down is hell.

It's not the Hell-stance.

It's merely an initial stand where the sword/sabre is pointed backwards and utilized as a knife/saks/dagger rather than a sword. The initial strike will be a circular movement fending off the attacker rather than a parry or piercing strike.

The whole hell versus heaven thingy isn't part of this.

It may be that the Sith use this as their initial stance, but I don't see anything odd in some Jedi using the same stance.

Which is a kick-megablocks stance in my opinion.
