Let's say I put £50 worth of LEGO in my basket, which is the minimum I need to spend in order to qualify for free shipping.

However, if I use 100 VIP points to bring the cost down to £45, does that mean the shipping costs are added back on?

WHSmith's in Churchill Square,Brighton have buy one 1 get 2nd half price on all Lego and Argos are doing buy two get third free on all Toys including Lego(cheapest one free) Just saved quite a bit on my sons christmas prezzies!

Just spotted the Lego Star Wars Character Encyclopaedia in my local Asda for only £5. I would have bought a few if I hadn't been with my daughter - she grasses me up to the missus when I buy Lego . Might try to sneak back on my own tomorrow .

As I'll be heading to the Lego Store in Cardiff this week I was wondering if anyone here knows if the Lego Stores in the UK do Grab Bags instore, because I've heard of them in US Lego Stores but not of them here in Lego Stores. Also, if anyone has seen or bought them from a Lego Store in the past here in the UK, how much do they cost each and where are they in the store (or if you have to ask at the till for them). I'm a huge fan of grab bags when they appear, but I have no idea when and how often they're sold. I've seen them sold at the Westfield store twice in the last year, and both times they were GBP 5.85 each.

No problem. They've always been at the front of the store, inside one of those yellow boxes (similar to sale items).

Just been on the Legoland Windsor website and spotted that they are holding some Christmas shopping days after the end of the season.

Christmas Shopping 11/12/13, 18/19/20, 25/26/27 November & 2/3/4 December

The attractions will not be open just the shops near the entrance (It's free it get in)

Also if you spend £120 you get a FREE annual pass so worth a look if you are local

Get there early though as the Lego seems to get wiped out early and is rarely restocked.

No probs as I say your alarm clock is your friend as the last 2 years everything decent was gone in the first couple of hours.

Find out when your local store opens and be there 10 mins before that to snag some goodies.
