The reduction is applied when you pay for it You should also get a £5 voucher, plus several 'Padwan points' (the stickers are on the boxes and less than straightforward to remove - if you collect 5 you should get you the Character Encyclopedia, but it's all a bit vague!!)

Phew, I was worried there for a moment. I havent heard of padwan points, Do you get 1 per SW set as I am getting the gunship, Black gate and Dooku battle?

I got 3 for 75017 (Duel on Geonosis) and 2 for 75016 (Spider Droid) so I'd guess it's one per £10 SW spend rounded down......

Praiter Yed Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 and argos Probably better to buy from Argos then - at least they're not avoiding paying tax in the UK Sadly I abandon my morals in favour of a Lego bargain... Amazon UK have 40% off Attack on Weathertop and 40% off Spongebob The Flying Dutchman - some nice rare-ish parts in that one Also my Local Asda has Mia's Magic Tricks & Emma's Karate Class at half price. And 3 for 2 on Series 1 Friends Collectible Animal things at Tescos (more nice parts).

Sabreman64 Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Does anyone have any tips on how to remove the stickers that Argos love to stick on all their LEGO sets? Is there perhaps some way to soften the adhesive before removing the stickers so as not to rip off large chunks of the box?
SMC Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 I just got 2 sets from Argos and they came right off no problem

Nike2032 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 (edited) There are some price cuts (about 20%) on Lord of the Rings and Star Wars and Marvel sets in ModelZone (probably because they're going into administration). Biggest price cuts I saw in the Croydon branch was a Millennium Falcon (7965 I think) at £106 (same as Amazon.co.uk) and the Batcave (6860) at a reduced price (sorry, I couldn't see the price tag), but there were very few sets left in stock.
