I got the Wyldsyle poly today, it's a great little model! Also, I discovered that with a bit of looking around, you can find some great sales in WHSmiths. Found a lone Orient Bazaar under the shelf for £14.99, and since I had a £5 off a £15 spend voucher to use, I needed 1p to get it over the the threshold. So, I found a 9558 Zane ZX booster pack labelled £2.99, but when I got to the till, it scanned at 10p! So with the Orient Bazaar and the voucher it came to £10.07! :classic:

Noticed a few sales in Toys 'R' Us earlier-£10 off a few sets, including Jabba's Sail Barge, AT-TE and Coast Guard Plane.

Same thing happened to me, they only had the TMNT bag, they never got today's in either.

I don't know whose fault it is: TLG's, The Mail's or WHS's, but I suspect WHS.

I'm hoping that they have some of TLM polybags on Sunday but as I'll be visiting a different branch from the ones I went to on Saturday, it wouldn't surprise me if they only had the TMNT ones.

Update: I went back to WHS today to get yesterday's polybag. They confirmed that they did have some. "Great," I thought, so I handed over my copy of today's Mail and asked for yesterday's polybag. They told me they couldn't do that. If I wanted yesterday's polybag, I had to hand over yesterday's voucher. But as I had already turned in yesterday's voucher to them yesterday, I didn't have one. I explained the situation but was told tough luck. Really, WH Smith? Really? You messed up your distribution and were willing to bend the rules yesterday but today all of a sudden you can't? Thanks.

I was going to buy an entire box of CMFs series 12 from WHS but no more. I'll get them from John Lewis, another nearby department store or a branch of the Entertainer. If WHS doesn't want my custom, one of those other stores will. And I'll be sure to let the management at WHS know.

Just curious, what's the going price for a full box of CMF these days? Do you get discount for bulk?

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum so not sure if I should be posting here but here is something that i've put together that might be of interest.

Happy building.

Cheers

No, you should not. This is a thread for reporting sales and deals in the UK, not private sellers on eBay.

I will take this opportunity to say one thing: I actually filter the word 'rare' out of my ebay searches because it annoys me so much. It's a knockoff of a real set that you're trying to sell for a profit. It's not 'rare'.

Series 12 minifigures are available in selected Argos stores as of today (there are two branches here in Llanelli, one had them, one didn't).

Could you tell me which store had them?

Series 12 are everywhere here in Liverpool... Even Tesco stores.

Yeah I picked up some from Tesco this week. Aylesbury big store (little store didn't have them).

Argos are doing 3 for 2 on all toys including Lego

Amazon have effectively near price matched some sets, and reduced their price to the equivalent

Lego super heroes 76020 - Guardians of Galaxy £27 instead of £45

http://www.amazon.co...the galaxy lego

Lego Star Wars AT-AT 75054 £85 instead of £110

http://www.amazon.co...=star wars lego

Lego Star Wars Snowspeeder 75049 £26 instead of £35

Lego Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina £51 instead of £65

Lego Star Wars Star Destroyer 75055 £92 instead of £120

The one in the centre of town.

I felt out fifteen of sixteen.

Looks like the barbarian is seriously short-packed.

I've reserved a sealed box at my nearest John Lewis. They don't offer a bulk discount, so it'll be £149.40 (= 2.49 x 60). I won't keep all of them though. The ones I don't want I'll sell at cost at one of my LUGs. I will have to wait a while though: JL won't have them until mid-October (they'll be at their distribution centre 6 October and in store about a week later). I'm willing to hold back rather than get them 1 October from WHS.

Amazon UK has...

75039 V-Wing, 75048 Phantom & 75041 Vulture Droid reduced by 38% to £12.31

Tesco Direct has the Lego Star Wars 'The Dark Side' book for £7. Turns out I had several vouchers from Clubcard points and ended up with it for £4.50 which is worth it for the Emperor figure alone.

TESCO have some savings on LEGO Star Wars at the moment. It's not stated what the percentage is but I think it's around 10% as all the £20 sets have £2 off.

Also Toys'R'us have 50% off Baxter Stockman's Robot Rampage bring it down to £22.49 and they have Hoth Echo base for £60.

Smyths have some good deals at the moment - 60052 cargo train for £109.99, that's £30 off, and if you order on line and use the voucher code OCT12OFF (applies to orders over £100) you get a further £12 off for a total of £97.99, including free delivery!

Firstly, this thread is about sales from retailers, and second specifically about sales in the UK. You should at least start a separate thread as your item fails on both counts!

Some good discounts on Toys R Us. 32 quid for Y wing fighter, 80 for MTT, 56 for Hoth Base

Anyone got a 10133 BNSF for sale? Preferably London.

I think that belongs in a separate thread.

A couple of says ago, I picked up the Star Wars Character Encyclopedia in WHSmiths for £3! With minifig as well. Not sure whether it's national, but it is still £10.49 on the website!
