Boots.com have started their 3 for 2 deal.

They have some of the new SW sets (Slave 1, General Grievous Starfighter and Plo Kloon's Jedi Starfighter) and a couple of the new Creator sets. Let's hope they stock the rest of the SW sets soon.

Thanks for the tip. I've bought two 5893 Offroad Power (creator) and one 7945 Fire Station.

S@H has finally updated the store calendar:

http://cache.lego.co...02606C38034.pdf

It includes the 20% off voucher. It does say only original coupons will be honoured - has anyone tried to use a print off of this pdf?

cheers,

timbutnice

I visited the Milton Keynes shop 2 weeks ago and asked if they still had the vouchers. They didn't but the shop assistant was very helpful and gave me 20% off without one (I am a VIP card holder, I think you have to be).

I used it to buy a Grand Emporium which was a very nice saving.

So I would just ask the assistant in the shop, maybe you will also be lucky.

 Boots won't let me order three creator airplane sets

They are a really good price at 12 pounds a piece and then the 2 for 3 makes its even better  too bad :hmpf_bad:

Maybe because there were only 2 left? Have you tried to buy any other item 3 times?

City sets, Creator and Racers pods at 25% off too.

Are those 25% deals in-store only?

They've got 8 city sets listed online and none of them show reductions :(

3 for 2 at on all toys at argos 22-26 off September

Was looking forward to this, i should have checked in advance really as many of their bigger sets are £10-20 more expensive than other stores and regardless they seem to be out of stock of most of them anyway.

Thanks for the heads-up! I was going to buy something on Monday, to use up a voucher near its deadline, but held off until today and got a couple of minifigs with it.

Your welcome :classic:

I hope to get some sets with this offer to but im torn between the 20% off on a set at the lego shop or the great western lego show

Will there be discounted sets at the great western show ?

Also i saw loads of series 1 minifigs in asda for £1.50 which is pretty cheap. Just in the toy bins too so you can root out the ones your missing.

There will be a couple of Bricklink vendors at STEAM, yes. Certain store vendors will also be there (not sure if they'll be vending, though) - so you could theoretically skip postage costs by asking to pick up there.

I presume you two are coming? I'll be there all weekend - at dawn, look to the east (or some such!)

Hi all,

Not sure if this is standard, but the limo and helicopter set 3222 is in Tesco for £17.99 It said offer but didn't show an original price.

I see they tend to go on feebay for £20+ even the used ones (then again alot goes on there for daft prices), so as Tesco have them in-store that's a big saving considering there's no postage as well.

Hey, quick question. Do WHSmiths in the airport sell collectable figures, going on a trip to spain flying from luton?

I wouldn't have thought so. From experience, the WHSmiths at travel hubs don't stock them; the ones at King's Cross, Euston, Victoria, London Bridge - none of them do.

Plus, wouldn't small, sealed mystery packets be banned on aeroplanes? :hmpf_bad:

TRU have reduced the price of 8404 public transport in store although it's still overprice from Lego themselves.

It's now £89.99 down from £99.99
