Got back from Westfield's Lego store a few minutes ago, and here's Si-Mizzle with the headlines:

- First and foremost: spend £35 in store and get a free small PAB cup - I think it lasts for the best part of this month. There's also an up and coming mini model build on the 7th, as well as a special one to mark the royal wedding that's apparently going on: from the printed calendar it looks like it'll be a pair of minifigures with some flowers. I will be at AFOLcon so I won't be able to grab them.

- As you can imagine the new Ninjago spinners were in stock. I got myself a Nya, as didn't fancy waiting eight weeks for HDNL/YODEL or a BrickLink seller.

- Extra good news in the build-a-fig section: they now have parts from the Series 1 collectibles. You can build complete clowns and magicians (w/o accessories), but there are also forestmen caps, cheerleader heads and nurse's hair. If you're lucky you'll also find a few more parts, such as these:

But be warned, black hips/legs are very scarce over there (at time of writing).

- The PAB wall is now mostly bricks in several sizes and colours, but a healthy section is now devoted to Hero Factory parts: some black connectors and some other body parts in various colours.

- They still have a number of keyrings and the female and City magnets set discounted. A Star Wars magnet set (with C-3PO and Leia) is also discounted.

- If you buy the Ramses Pyramid game (at GBP 19.99) from the store, you'll also get double VIP points.

Toys R Us in Dundee now has series 4 minifigs in stock.

They didn't have boxes out, but they had the individidual packets hanging by the tills. I'd say they had about half a box's worth out, next to leftover series 3 minifigs.

I picked up 10 packets, and my friend picked up 5, so I reckon there's about 15-20 left hanging. They may have more boxes though, that's just what was out at the time.

For anyone who wants them, the front and back of this month's Lego store calendar.

So it appears we, unlike the Americans, won't be getting the PotC, Alien Conquest or the new City sets this month :hmpf_bad: .

I'll be suprised if we actually get Alien Conquest. We never got Space police in stores.

I'm thinking that too. I was so annoyed Space Police III wasn't available in shops here. It's my favourite theme...does anyone know the reason why the theme never made it to mainstream shops here?

Anyway, I hope we're wrong - it's a fantastic theme and I'm sure it would sell very well over here - better than Pharaohs Quest by a long shot. But I've got a bad feeling about this. Maybe Lego has some statistics to prove Space themes don't sell well here or something... :sceptic:

I never actually knew about that, because I was still coming out of my Dark Ages when they were out. I really hope Alien Conquest's availabl here, because it has some fantastic sets that I'm considering getting.

I think I remember seeing Space Police sets in the Lego stores, just after I came out of my dark age, but there wasn't anything I was keen on getting. It wasn't very prominent.

Yeah, they were still available online and in the Lego Stores. But obviously there are what...5 Lego Stores here in the UK? they were hard to find and completely unavailable in any of the other shops that sell Lego here - Toys R Us, Argos, Tesco...anywhere. I dread a repeat of that.

Looks like the next issue of the Beano will include a series 4 minifig.

The Beano is £1.50, so there is a nice 50p saving to be had.

That's interesting. Is it easy to feel the minifigure packet, so you can tell which figure the magazine comes with?

I bought Beano today...

boring...

50p for a sticker...

I do not recommend this

How much did you pay for it? I thought they were supposed to be £1.50, which is a 50p saving, plus you get the magazine and the stickers. I think it's a good deal.

Spad, do you know if the figure comes with the magazine, or do you have to send away for it?
