Not a sale as such, but now Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way, Swindon Tesco has started its Christmas reset, which gives a lot more shelf space to toys. As well as the standard Lego section, there's a special section with a red Technic supercar and the Millenium Falcon in cases, along with loads more larger sets that they had not previously carried, from all kinds of themes: Harry Potter Hogwarts, SW Podracers, Alien Conquest Headquarters,etc.

The standout price was the NinjaGo Fire Temple, which was £77, matching Amazon. Might be worth exchanging some clubcard vouchers for double points now!

Also, the two 2011 Advent Calendars were there, I believe at £18 each.

To follow on on the Tesco thread - there are a few things with a little saving, but the Alien Conquest mothership is now only £35 as opposed to £40 in ASDA and £50 at the Lego stores and S@H - just enough of a saving to warrant getting one!

John Lewis has the Alien Mothership at £34.66 and Harry Potter Knight Bus at £22.46

Amazon has 8038 Battle of Endor for only £56.95 currently. Bargain!

In addition to the buy 2, get 1 free off at Toys R Us, if you spend over £50 on Star Wars lego, you get a free £10 voucher.

I bought the following, which was already discounted.

7877 Naboo Starfighter for £31.49 (RRP £40.99)

7869 Battle for Geonosis for £34.99 (RRP £35.99)

8075 Neptune Carrier for £29.99 (RRP £39.99)

So I got the Atlantis set for free, and saved £10.50.

A heads up for anyone planning on going to Toys 'R Us: games also count as part of the 3 for 2 offer, even though they're BOGOHP. So don't buy games and sets at the same time, if you're going to buy more than two sets!

Not sure if this has been said before but ASDA has the Marina set for £33, a decent saving of £8 on RRP. I picked one up for myself.

Both Argos and Amazon have got at least 50% off the Mindstorms 2.0 NXT set at the moment ... don't forget to use the extra 15% off on the Argos one.

UK Tesco direct have reduced their exclusive 7959 Geonosian Starfighter to £24.97.

Not bad if you have some clubcard vouchers you can exchange too. :classic:

Where did you read that? I can't see anything on S@H about it.

According to the store calendar the 2nd vignette set is only available between the 25th & 28th.

I got the info in an email from Lego a bit earlier. Will clarify that this applies to buying something today only via S@H, and there's also free delivery for £25 or more orders.

I received a postcard yesterday for this promotion (Nov 25th -28th) details as follows:

If you have a VIP card, just login with your details and it will all pop up. I've tested it already (twice!) and got all the promised stuff on my orders.

It will apply to everyone next weekend too though, it's clearly a ploy to get their VIP members to have two weekends of overspend!!!

ASDA has knocked £10 off the RRP of the Alien Mothership and the Marina is now around £25.

There are a few lego bits and books in the Amazon Black Friday sale today including the Toy story soldiers & jeep 7595

They start at approx 6pm so you need to scroll through to them on the Black Friday page

John Lewis are selling Harry Potter Quidditch Practice for £14.24 and the Alien Conquest Mothership for £29.95.

These won't last long, as they will be matching a competitors sale so hurry if you want these sets
