tbroyd Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 The link here shows the sets here (but incorrectly shows 2 second sundays)
The Joker1 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) Tesco are doing 4203 City Mining Excavator Transporter for £12, and 9466 Monster Fighters Crazy Scientist & Monster for £18! Every time i look it up its still £40- http://www.tesco.com...&skuId=320-0404 Perhaps the offer was on the stock on the shelves in store, rather than Tesco direct which is run as a separate company and often has different prices
Hive Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 amazon have got Helm's Deep for £70! I came here to report that as well, it's an amazing offer. Even though I don't really have the money for it atm, it's hard to resist making money for it... since it's half price compared to retail here!
Rumble Strike Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sorry for not being specific, tbroyd is correct, this was an instore Tesco sighting.
martyboy70 Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Sainsburys toy sale is on again. Not as good this year as its only a third off all Lego rather than 50% off.
Praiter Yed Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 A Tesco store near my work has some minor reductions on lots of City sets plus the X-Wing fighter is reduced to around £37 and Series 1 Planet sets are around £7.50 (some other SW sets are reduced too) AND they have a 3 for 2 offer on all toys incl. Lego - (cheapest free) I'm assuming this is a nation-wide promo. Also my local Asda and The Book People are selling the Ninjago Character Encyclopaedia for £5
AmperZand Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 (edited) Picked up the Thor polybag with The Sun today. Went to three WHSs as they were on my way to where I was going anyway. There was no restriction on the number of polybags you could get at any of them. Saw one bloke get 12! All three WHSs were in south London. Edited October 27, 2012 by AmperZand
Lobot Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Amazon (UK) have 7965 Millennium Falcon for £79.99, which is the cheapest I've ever seen it!! Total bargain at that price (link here)
Zilcho Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Does anyone know if you can collect all the tokens and send off for all the poly bags at the end? It doesn't mention it anywhere on the website but it might in the newspaper. Thanks
ADHO15 Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Does anyone know if you can collect all the tokens and send off for all the poly bags at the end? It doesn't mention it anywhere on the website but it might in the newspaper. Thanks The newspaper only talks about the voucher being exchangeable for the set 'TODAY only', and doesn't mention anything about sending off the vouchers, so I doubt you'd be able to do that.
into the blue Posted October 27, 2012 Posted October 27, 2012 Noticable that there weren't huge queues outside WH Smiths for the polybag offer this morning. The Sun hasn't really pushed this one as much as previous offers, I think I've only seen one TV ad. I suspect that people will twig as the week goes on though and next Saturday's orc set will be a sell-out.
Lobot Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Amazon (UK) have Helm's deep (9474) for £69.99 again (link here), Ork Forge (9476) for £32.00 (link here) and Mines of Moria (9473) for £56.00 (link here)

Zilcho Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 Does anyone know what they do with leftover polybags? I saw some super heros polys behind the desk at smiths today, but I couldn't see which one they were.
escortmad79 Posted November 1, 2012 Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) They'll either a) Send them back to the supplier, b) keep them & give them to folk that have relevant vouchers or c) Keep them & sell them later on (Seen this happen in some stores). They probably won't give them away for free (I've been trying to get some of the previous ones throughout the week but they won't give me any without the vouchers) Edit:- 1000th post Edited November 1, 2012 by escortmad79
