Iain Posted June 9, 2010 Posted June 9, 2010 Lego.com are offering double VIP points up to 20th June - That equates to 10% off your next purchase (i.e Spend £50, get 100 VIP points = £5 off next purchase)
squiz Posted June 12, 2010 Posted June 12, 2010 Just spotted some lego in John Lewis (in Southampton) earlier, didnt realise they sold it so it was a nice surprise. More importantly they had lots of boxes of minifigs and they were displayed on the shelf with the rest of the lego, so you could root through and pick the ones you wanted without any hasle! They were £1.95 too so slightly less than tru/argos.
escortmad79 Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Anyone seen any of the new impulse sets anywhere in the UK? (Jester, Magician & Farmer) Can't find any ANYWHERE & don't want to pay over the odds for S@H postage. Are they out yet?
charlieboy Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 I bought them yesterday in the Brighton lego shop, i've not seen them anywhere else as of yet.
escortmad79 Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 So it seems the Lego Shops have them but nobody else as of yet? All 3 Lego shops are at the other end of the country so won't be popping in to get them!!

charlieboy Posted June 18, 2010 Posted June 18, 2010 (edited) Just thought i'd mention that W H Smiths in George Street, Hove, East Sussex has an almost full box of the minifigs in stock.I've been searching locally for ages with no luck at all until today! (All the forestmen have gone incidently ) Edited June 18, 2010 by charlieboy
squiz Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 There is now 20% off every design by me set on the lego website. Says its a UK only offer. I imagine its still pretty steep, but 20% should take the sting off it!
roamingstop Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 (edited) Large discounts on Castle, Bionicle and other models on UK sales site this morning! Edited June 25, 2010 by roamingstudio

Marckeyh Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Just spotted a full box of collectable minifigs in my local toy shop. It's in Bicester (sheep street), near Oxford. Also they have 8184 for £39, quite rare as you can't buy this in the lego store anymore.
Eskallon Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hey guys Does anybody know what type of stuff is in th MK store PAB wall. I might go tommorrow if there is something good. Thanks
Marckeyh Posted June 26, 2010 Posted June 26, 2010 Hey guys Does anybody know what type of stuff is in th MK store PAB wall. I might go tommorrow if there is something good. Thanks I was there two weeks ago, and they didn't had anything really nice. Mostly just bricks and few kinds of plate.
willy_poodle Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I repeat my question: Where is the best selection of Pick-A-Brick in UK?
Marckeyh Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 I repeat my question: Where is the best selection of Pick-A-Brick in UK? The best PAB in the UK is probably in legoland windsor. Expensive though, at £4/100gr. In the lego stores I found blue water a lot better then the one in MK. I've never been to the Brighton one... -M
-JD- Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 Seems I keep missing poeple on EB who go to the MK store by a week, every time.
charlieboy Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 The best PAB in the UK is probably in legoland windsor. I was there last weekend, wasnt a great selection at all.Was even more dissapointed with the discount shop, some old bionicle sets and a few baseball caps was about it
Marckeyh Posted June 28, 2010 Posted June 28, 2010 I was there last weekend, wasnt a great selection at all.Was even more dissapointed with the discount shop, some old bionicle sets and a few baseball caps was about it What a shame, I was planning to go there this summer and get loads of PAB :( Thanks for letting us know.
charlieboy Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Dont let me put you,the last time i was there the pab was great and so was the discount shop.I made up for it this time by buying myself the whole new kingdome line and lots of reduced troll battle packs that were dotted around the park
Razzer Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Hey guys, do any of you know whether you need a ticket to get to the shop in the Manchester Discovery Centre? And whether their PAB/ Build a Minifig is any good?
willy_poodle Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 Hey guys, do any of you know whether you need a ticket to get to the shop in the Manchester Discovery Centre? And whether their PAB/ Build a Minifig is any good? You don't need a ticket to the shop, but PAB and BAM are very poor unfortunately. A few basic bricks. The most interesting part for me there was a flower stalk and once there were a few pieces from a game set thrown in, so I got some white arches. If it comes to sets, it's probably the best choice if you don't want to go to London area. If you go there let us know if they have Kingdoms, I haven't seen them anywhere else.
