David85 Posted August 1, 2004 Posted August 1, 2004 I said like Christmas, and Christmas in July. :P I don't know what holidays you have over there, you could have your "Independence Day" holiday around know, I don't know. Quote
Jipay Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 All the european countries have their "independance day". Most of us have many days off thx to the christian religion. Sometimes the holidays are a victory for one country and a defeat for another one (france/uk, germany/france). Long fights gave us cool holidays  Quote
DoubleT Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 Well in Denmark we dont have the of thanx to some war day, and we dont have an "independance day", Denmark is an old old contry.. We do have an constitution day... Quote
ApophisV Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 in germany we thank the different times of year: spring, summer, autumn, winter.. then christmas and easter hollidays... we got some single days where we have free, mostly christian celebration days, and we got the reunification day (between germany and the ex ddr).... Quote
Jipay Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 Reunification day ? Shouldn't it be renamed as the taxes day ? :P I say that cause i've heard reunification costed a lot to Germany Quote
