Just curious, has anyone tried to make any fantasy creatures aside from what LEGO makes? I'm working on a few centaurs, and kind of hit a wall. Thanks!

If you can manage to crack open a horse, this design would probably look great. Not mine, but awesome.

Thank you all for your help, I know have a definite course of action.

I once built a centaur using the leg design of the Mini AT-AT.

I simply made the legs one joint piece shorter, removed the "feet", and brought the legs two studs closer together, so that the figure was only two studs wide like a normal Lego horse. Then, instead of the AT-AT body, I added a tail made out of plates at the back and a minifig's upper body at the front. Not the best design, but it was minifig scale and looked alright, so it worked for me.

imo, hope's centaur is best. shinji-o's a close second. check out shinji-o's warboar, cow and griffin. excellent! going to make some warboars for my troll army! heh...
