Posted February 6, 200916 yr Hi Andreas, The soldier in white, what he got on his head - how do you call it ? I ask this because in the future I want to order some of these. And I what to order the correct ones... Is it also possible that you explain me once more how I must do this (place an order). You have already explained this somewhere but I can't find it anymore on CP. Thx in advance. Grtz, kurt Edited February 6, 200916 yr by ImperialShadows Made the title a little clearer
February 6, 200916 yr Ok, the first part of this could have been PM'd, doesn't belong in the forum. The second part is really cool, great for custom minifig decals. Although may I suggest that the staff move it to either the Minifig Customization Workshop or the General LEGO News and Discussion forums?

Although may I suggest that the staff move it to either the Minifig Customization Workshop or the General LEGO News and Discussion forums? 1) First of all my excuse Captain Zuloo, but I really didn't knew what I had do (as proof look to my subtitle + b). 2) Secondly I have then nevertheless taken the decision to post it here because: a) in previous topics there were also other members how want to order. b) other creations that Woody made had been permitted to be post here. 3) Thirdly concerning the mini figure… I stumbled on it before shutting down my computer and posted it without thinking. More to help Woody than to share it with others. My apologies here for… done without ulterior motive. By the way: I deleted it myself already and moved it to the Minifig Customization Workshop. February 6, 200916 yr The item is called Kolpak(Kalpak) or Hussar Shako, follow the link to find the item on the shop ... Hussar Shako The decals are adaptations of some designs published by Mosana: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=354524 It was widely used by nearly all Hussar units (some french Hussars used also the normal french shako). It was also used by special men like trumpeter or banner wearer. In the example of the picture you see a dragoon unit where the trumpeter has a white uniform in contradiction to the normal men which wore the green jacket. That was very common that these men wore some inverse colouring ... Also there exists some paintings showing special line infantry men wearing the Kolpack (voltigeurs) Concerning ordering you have to do the following steps: - Visit the shop provided by shapeways: http://www.shapeways.com/shops/MinifigCustomsIn3d - all items having the shopping tray in the left corner are order able - after clicking on one item you get the item page and an order button - you will be asked to sign up (create an account before ordering) - there's a minimal order limit (between $30 and $40) but there's no(!) shipping fee The items I would recommend for building up new units are: - French Shako http://www.shapeways.com/model/12104/frenc...o_1809__s_.html used by nearly all French line units (also by German Rheinbund, Italians, ...) - Hussar http://www.shapeways.com/model/8845/hussar_shako.html - French Dragoon/Cuirassier http://www.shapeways.com/model/9338/french_dragoon.html - Austrian Dragoon Helmet http://www.shapeways.com/model/8324/austri...ier_helmet.html - British (Ofenrohr) Shako http://www.shapeways.com/model/12198/british_shako.html - Ulan http://www.shapeways.com/model/12751/ulan__small_.html usable for all Ulan units and polish units Sone designs are under review and close to be finished.
