legotrainfan Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 My condolences to his father and aunt, who tried to make him so happy on his birthday. That's a really sad story. And it must be a heavy blow to the boy's father, first losing his wife and then his only son. It'll take a long time till he has recovered from both losses; maybe it's not possible to recover at all... Quote
Bricks Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 That's really sad. Maybe the boy could be a great LEGO-Designer So my commiseration for the hole family! Greetings 'Bricks' Quote
Purplehair. Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 That is absolutely shocking. What bad combination of circumstances... my condolences to the father and aunt, it must be so horrible. How could this happen? Its just... not fair, I guess. My heart goes out to the family. Quote
Admiral Blockbeard Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Sadly this is the life we live. I feel for this family. His Dad has had a hard run. As Hinckley said the mix up in the picture and the story disappoints me further. As for the set inquiry as it said in the article he liked the more "complicated older sets" I am guessing it was a technic or motorized set. How nice would it be for Lego to send the Dad a grievance card even though they had nothing to do with the death. Wonder if he had any brothers or sisters? Regards, Cpt. PB Quote
pesgores Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 Died of excitement...at least he died with a smile on his face... My condolences to his family. Quote
