Jipay Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 I went to the theater to see it last week and this movie was great. It's a documentary about america and fast foods and I just loved it. The documentary itself is funny and I also like the idea of eating every day every meal in macdonalds to show how destructive it can be :D
ApophisV Posted August 2, 2004 Posted August 2, 2004 hm.. i like mcdonalds... i go there at least once per weak... when i'm too lazy to cook... ;)
Jipay Posted August 5, 2004 Author Posted August 5, 2004 Well Macdonalds in europe arenot the same in america. the biggest coca cola cup here is the smalest there. COnsider also that you can drink at will in macdonals in america and that french fries are just soooo fat. Only went twice in a macdonad in america, don't think I'll go more. But in france I often go there. But I have to confence : not since I watched this movie :P
DoubleT Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 I dont ofen go to McD, not that I dont like them, I just dont :) But when I do go there, then there is only one burger for me ;) Remeber im only at McD like 4 times a year lol Quarter Pounder ................ (Going into Homer S. Mode) drooooooooool
ApophisV Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 so this becomes a kind of pulp fiction thread... :P you got quarter pounders at denmark? i thought they were only called that in the u.s.??? the famoust burger in germany is the big mac, but the best is the "royal ts" (ts = tomatos and salad)
Jipay Posted August 5, 2004 Author Posted August 5, 2004 In france the most famous burger isalso the bigmac and we got a lot of special operations with special burgers. The quarter pound shows up from time to time as the "280 (gramms)". But in the USA macdonalds are just junk food.
DoubleT Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 One of the times is was in England, McD had super menu's. one of them was and double size Big Mac  And yes we got Quater Pounder here :) But in Denmark there are also salats and stuff like that...
sam89 Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 In England they banned Super Size chips, because people complained they were bad for you
Jipay Posted August 5, 2004 Author Posted August 5, 2004  Lol we can see you're h(a)(u)ngry sam ! Well we also have the double Bicmac here until 10 of august, it's only a promotionnal operation !
ApophisV Posted August 5, 2004 Posted August 5, 2004 i'm half hungrian... :P *returning on topic* burger king had the "Triple Wopper" when i visited them last week... and i wasn't able to eat something else for hours... :P but tasted VERY good.... ;)
jonfett Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 mmmm... Macdonalds, I dont eat out there alot but I love it. Chips taste like they have been dipped in sea watter but never mind. Americans are more obsessed than us! Just from the typical Homer simpson diet :P Jon.
jonfett Posted August 7, 2004 Posted August 7, 2004 *cough* slob! :< Cant resist that fried.. no, its rubber egg on bread. Jon.
jonfett Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 Have you never had the Macdonald Breakfast..? They ahve rubbery egg and bacon in a burger... erm so I've heard :< Jon.
ApophisV Posted August 8, 2004 Posted August 8, 2004 because of McDonalds breakfast i ended up at an ambulance station when i was drunk... because i hadn't eaten anything that day (it was carnival, so i drank from 9 o'clock in the morning)... a day ago i had planned to breakfast at McD, but when i saw what they had to offer, i was so much disguested, that i just hadn't breakfasted... and drinking without of having eating something....bad idea... ;) /(it was my first year of drinking experiences, so its already long, long ago... :P) SO, KIDS, A SHORT WARNING: IF YOU WANT TO DRINK ALCOHOL: (when you are at least 16, 18 or 21, depending where you live) EAT SOMETHING BEFORE STARTING DRINKING!!!! :loul:
Jipay Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 Here the "legal" age is 18 but usually your family force you to drink around 10 "just try it, french vine, it's traditional !" "no no bot good" "will you drink it ? you are getting on my nerves" "no missa don't wanna drink" ;)
ApophisV Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 lol.... i knew about that (you know, that frensh-fanatic friend that now studies in france... :P)... yeah wine is something you must enjoy... aspecially german and frensh wine!!! :D :D :D
DoubleT Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Ehm sorry Apu, but Germany aint known for its wine....... but beer, and lots of it ;)
ApophisV Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 i don't know if we export our wine much, but germans south and west produces first class wine!!! come, visit me and i will show you what you miss an denmark... ;)
jonfett Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Ah, french wine. Although I don't drink it (well sometimes) we stopped off on our journey back through France and bought alot of it. It sure made alot of noise in the back of the car.. clanging about evrytime we went over bumps. <_< Jon.
DoubleT Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 lol yes Jon, wine is the most noisely'st drink of all.. and apu sorry dont like wine....
ApophisV Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 oh, thats why you have no idea of german wine... :P
DoubleT Posted August 9, 2004 Posted August 9, 2004 Lol ask everybody, and they will say Germans drink alot of beer Apu lol
Jipay Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 Well german are known for drinking a lot of alcohol, whatever it is. Their beers are good but unfortunatly, not as "strong" as the belgium ones :P hips
