Good God! Patriot 720 is right! Just like the Assassin droid battlepack, they took out the sticker! But the battlepack wasn't a real ship. I swear I will freaking hate TLG if they don't put back the open circle fleet symbol back on the Venator!

It's on every Venator! How can they take it off? It's almost like taking the cockpit straight out of a JSF and calling it the same! But it's not even a Venator anymore without it! It's on every Venator! Don't take it off! Please??? :pir_bawling::thumbdown::angry:

CopMike can talk to TLG, right? someone tell him to tell them to put that symbol back on now!!!!

Thanks for your trust but no, I don´t think it´s a good idea. The set is probably already running in the production line. As for the symbol being there or not, we´ll see when it hits the shelfs. All we´ve seen is preliminary pictures of a box and a pic that we don´t really know were it came from.

Ok, mind your language or face the Chamber. You have "hated" & disliked sets back & forth, and then you´ve loved them. Please try to be a bit more cool.

I think the minifig selection in the Y-wing continue to be bad even if the reasons are cause the kids like main characters. Here is my opinion respect this :classic: :

I don´t think the kids really really want a lot of the same characters to be honest. If you look well when you are in any store that sells lego, you will find that the kids buy mainly big sets like the AT-TE or the RGS (Mainly cause birthday reasons or just cause they save) and at the time I doubt many young collectors still miss this minifigs. Then there is the parents factor and that parents want their kids to have the main characters, but if we keep in mind that many parents don´t even like SW than they follow a simple but yet effective factor and it is the next one: It looks cool so maybe he/she like it? And that it! they follow mainly the look of the set and the look of the minifigs and if you look at the clone pilots of the Y-wing in that episode they look totally better than this trio :cry_sad: . And the third but non-less influent is that the kids that like SW follow the TV series all the way so at the moment I am sure they know that Anakin, Ahsoka and R2 aren´t the only Y-wing pilots in the galaxy.

And cause this I think the TLC should have included other minifigs but I really think we will end up with them :cry_sad: .

In the final version of the Y-wing, I wonder if they'll change the bubble turret to dark trans-clear, instead of light trans-clear. It would be odd if they didn't, also, did anyone read my comment about Lok Durd? Don't be surprised if you might not get Nute Gunray, but we need a clearer picture first! On the Sep Shuttle, it looks like the landing gear is the same kind of pieces as on the Delta-7B's, except for the fact that is bends in the weird position to fold up. It also looks like there's an opening in the back for figs to "get out," even though the only real way to do that is with the big top opening.

I read your comment on Lok. However, I believe Lego is recreating the scene from Bombad JEdi, with Rodia in the scene and all. It would make sense that Gunray is with Farr, as tehy and the ship werre present in that episode. It looks like to me that there are 2 rooms on the shuttle: one for pilot droid, which is accessed by opening the top hatch, and the one near the bottom rear, which holds the passengers and is accessed with doors. That would also be more accurate:

tf_shuttle.jpg

And the cockpit you know from the Dooku Captured episode. (The passenger compartment was also shown briefly, but this is a better pic.

After reading some of the comments in this thread on mini figures, i decided to do some research and found the following information.

Take from.Lego Star Wars Wiki

Includes, Normal, UCS (only mini figures), Clone Wars, Expanded universe, and 2009 sets for sale currently on TLC site.

Does not including rumoured sets, and where you pay like $80 for Boba in a box on Amazon.

All forms are included (eg Luke Pilot), excludes holograms, and carbinit.

Luke: Is in 19 sets.

Normal battle droids: (not pilot or SBD), are featured in 15 sets.

R2D2: is in 13 sets.

Darth Vader: is in 11 sets.

Normal Clone troopers: are in 9 sets.

Obi Wan: is in 9 sets.

Anakin: is in 9 sets.

Han: is in 9 sets.

Normal storm troopers: are in 8 sets.

Leia: is in 7.

Chewy: is in 6.

Qui Gon Jinn: is in 6 sets.

Jar Jar: is in 5.

C3P0: is in 5.

Boba Fett: is in 5.

Yoda: is in 4.

Old Ben: is in 3.

The Emperor: is in 3.

That seems to be quite inaccurate, unfortunately. For example, the Emperor is in 4 sets, not 3. The final duel, Imperial inspection, imperial shuttle, and Death Star.

 Sorry.... I just don't understand why they'd take off one of the most prominent features on the set. But most of all, why bother putting stickers on the Seperatist Shuttle and make it look amazing, but then try to ruin their own Venator?

I guess we'll find out at the toyfair though. These box pics don't always match the things that we see there.

Random side note: A few months back we all decided that the "Rocket Battle Droids" from the Hyena Bomber were droid Commandos. Well guess what? We were wrong, wrong, wrong!!!

They are these little guys:

Rocket_Battle_Droids.jpg

Another random side note: Motti is correct. I never trust the Lego Star Wars wiki. It's got so many stubs and unwritten articles too. By the way, if the list only contains currently released sets, why do we need to read it?

We didn't say they were commandos we just thought they could have been them or those pod hunter droids. Any way back on topic, what sort of interior do you guys think the Endor bunker will have? I reckon it's going to have the weird orange power cones and probably some control panels.

Dont worry, Im sure they will put the emblem back on the venator, its just a preliminary pic.

Do you think it is at all possible Legomilk's picture is at a newer stage than the one in the catalog? After all, the catalog did come out quite a while before it, but only now did pictures come out. But I still think the emblem is very necessary.

I'm SO sorry if this is the wrong place, but I just found this!

Edit by Hinckley: This pic has already been removed from our site at the request of TLG

Looks like we have Palpatine and Senate Commandos!!! :cry_happy: :cry_happy: :cry_happy:

Old ben is in 4 sets as well. UCS falcon, Death Star, landspeeder, Mos Eisley Cantina

How many versions of a certain character is an interesting idea though, it'll make an interesting thread

HAI GUYS CHECK OUT DIS COOL PIC I JUST FOUND

Edit by Hinckley: This pic has already been removed from our site at the request of TLG and it was posted three posts above yours!

PS:

That list above seems correct if you DON'T include the new UCS Death Star

Now I feel like a complete idiot.

At least you figured it out before everyone else would have to tell you. :look:

Perhaps the Venator box shot a version before the one with the open circle symbol? That would make more sense.

EDIT: Tacoman, please, PLEASE tell me you are joking...

Is this a joke (along with everyone else), cos' I'm getting sick of seeing that pic all the time! If you wanted to be sarcastic, just leave the pic out!

Oh and by the way, I don't really care whether the Venator has the emblem stickers or not, as long as the ship design is accurate.

aww, c'mon! is it so hard to look back a few pages? this has been posted a HUNDRED TIMES before! I'm really getting tired of this :hmpf:

It's that time of year again! :hmpf::laugh:

I probably don't have space for the Venator so I wont be getting it, so I guess I'll have to order those blue clones off, well, somewhere

There's plenty of time to save for the summer sets...

The venator looks good they have plenty of time to add stuff to it. The toyfare is just a month away i got my tickets online already it should be an interesting one this year..

Posted

can i just point out that at this toy fair, lots of people will be taking pictures and i dont think that people should say that there sick of seeing the same stuff considering that they were nice enough to bring the pics to the forums

i was thinking so far it the past 2 years TLC has released the ucs MF and last year the DS do you think they'll release another ucs with minifigs for this year?

We can always hope.

Though I am not sure that UCS sets will include minifigs. Only the DS and Cloud City from the 10000's sets have had minifigs.

But having a UCS set this year will surely ruin me. We're getting an awesome amount of high-quality designed sets and I'd rather have multiple copies of the Endor set than another UCS set this year.

@TheRestOfYou - after having 2 members posting the images, the rest of you spend 2 pages discussing that they did. Here's a new try-out for you. Please ignore when anyone reposts what we've already seen. The staff is on it, and we'll strike down whenever this happens. Ignore and this will be a much much better topic for everyone.

As you may know I don't say much but I'd like to share my ideas!

Home One might be UCS with minifigs :cry_happy: , we've seen it before. The Home One will surely include Ackbar, it would be cruel if we didn't see him in this set :cry_sad: .

The clones in the tank droid seem to have the regular air tank jet packs with fins protruding from the rear of the tube, although I may be wrong.

The Endor set is too good to be true, yet it is!

The Y-Wing-"It's a trap!" -Admiral Ackbar.

Hoping for this(LAAT/c)-LAATc_Geonosis_1.jpg
