Each one of those posts had something relevant in it too, not to this topic but I was just helping Ashoka find their way. We were just having a side-chat at the same time. Anyway, finished now.

Yes exactly, it was all on topic, and thank you ADH015 for all of your help, very useful; I have made posts in the relevent areas :classic:

I think I will be getting:

Sep shuttle x1

Tank droid x2

Pirate Tank x1 (maybe x2)

Dropship and AT-OT x1

I think the Y-wing is a great set, but I already have the figs, and it would take up too much room! I would only want the figs from the venator, so not worth spending all that money on it :sceptic:

I dont collect OT but I think the hoth set and endor bunker look amazing :cry_happy:

Ashoka~

Seen this already?

edit: pics removed - did you even read the typing in red underneath each picture?

Yes, we have, and they aren't allowed. :hmpf_bad:

@Bob:

EDIT: You're right! There's an escape pod! Yes! It only fits one though, but oh well. I love the idea! It's super downscaled just like the ship!

Yes we have known for quite a while, if you read back a page you can see this.

Back on topic:

Do you think we will get a new mold for the pirates or just printed head??

overall, i think the 2009 sets look great -- i didn't think they would be able to upstage 2008's lineup. my only concern is i hope the dropship has a lifespan longer than 6 months, like some other exclusives have had. i still need to pick up the new death star!

It will. Most other exclusives, especially the espensive ones, like this, are sold for a couple years...

Is the venator price of 180 euro for real? :oh3: (=226 usd, while u.s. price is over a 100$ cheaper)

Please let it be a typo, otherwise TLG has truly gone nuts (more than they where before).

No, it is gonna be around 120.

Ok, thanks, I allmost had a heart-attack when I saw the 180 euro price in the 1st post (but TLG is crazy enough to pull something like that).

The set looks pretty damn sweet, as well as the Endor and Hoth sets. So many great sets, looks like SW is going in the right direction again.

All these new sets are very nice and look superb but i can't help thinking that we are missing a UCS set?? maybe thats what set no. 20010 may be?? i mean lego has released a ucsset every year sine 2000 and some times even 2 in a year so we hopefully should get one.

Is the Republic Dropship with AT-OT not considered as a UCS as it has a 10... number?

I know you probably meant a 'proper' UCS: a large, detailed version of a vehicle but I just thought I'd say that to remind you they have technically made one UCS.

A very warm welcome to Eurobricks, by the way!

Thanks for the welcome,

no i class 10195 as a system set and yes i mean a big detailed version of a starship or land based craft or even a droid/cycborg like General Grievous.

Personally i think the 1**** no. is just used for exclusives or s@h only.

Does the drop ship count as UCS? It is a #10000+.

So, don't forget medieval market (tatooine ?) and crappy AT-AT cat !

As far as I remember, that's not the number but the large black&blue sticker put in the box that made it a UCS ...

No UCS in 2009.

6 months? You have me hoping too. Well the dropship is my first priority.

im worried, i spent $100 on clone battle packs. I only have $110, right now, i'll probably have to buy another gunship and use pieces from that.

anyone notice how small the corporate alliance tank droid is for a big cost?

No UCS?? oh dear is that official or may the great gods at Lego surprise us later in the year?

how do you mean? the AT-OT+LAAT/LAAC is a UCS

Actually, it is not. A UCS set is an Ultimate Collector Series set, which is a highly detailed and large version of a well known vehicle or favorite space station. Examples are the Death Star, Death Star II, and Imperial Star Destroyer. The sets are not mini-figure scale and are not meant to be played with. The AT-OT and LAAT/LAAC, while large and expensive, is not a UCS because it is mini-fig scaled and meant to be played with. Sorry, just had to clarify that.
