CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 There will be another Rex, it's almsot for certain (unless a hydrogen bomb hits the Lego Factory, which is highly weird and will never be repeated again) Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Were you talking about that guy who said that there was a "$1000 X-Wing Collector's Edition set"? I can't believe that I clicked that link before looking at the source thingy at the bottom of my browser (the one that shows you the link you're about to click on). I avoided that one. After clicking on the Super Star Destroyer one, I learnt my lesson. And yes, I do think that we need a new Tri-Droid set. There's only been one of it, and I couldn't get it because it was made before I liked LEGO. I would be very happy if they did make one, though. TLG haven't made an Octuparra before. I think it was likely that the Tri-droid rumour was turned into the CA Tank Droid because it said it included battle droids and jet troopers, which the tank droid does. There's still hope though! -JD- Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I think there will be a smaller set with Rex eventually, but we still need some proof if you want us to believe you. Anyways, I wonder what the interior of the Pirate Tank will look like. A control panel with some seats perhaps? I would suspect it would be like the Clone Tank's interior with the same mechanism as well. That seat popping up thing in the Clone Tank annoyed me so I removed it and added some more seats and controls. I hope TLG don't do that seat mechanism again and give us some more detail on the inside, otherwise I may skip the set. JD Quote
The Who Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) I'd say that it is almost a garuntee that Rex will be in a small/medium in the future. As for the Vassal posting to say that, no, I wouldn't believe anything he says that I didn't already know. And here is a dumb question to anybody who can answer: What is the Tri Droid? EDIT: And JD, I am pretty sure that the Pirate Tank doesn't have an interior, as it is too flat. Edited March 4, 2009 by booger540 Quote
Clone OPatra Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but I came across a picture of Brickshelf of the new Brickmaster Exclusive Star Wars mini set, 20010: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3744142 It didn't want to deeplink it because it might be against policy. Also, I do read this thread about every day and I had not seen this posted before, but if it has been please do not completely jump on me. Quote
JCC1004 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 (edited) I've never seen that. But I hate Btickmaster exclusives! They look fine a would love to have them, but I don't think Brickmaster is worth it and forget BL! Edited March 4, 2009 by JCC1004 Quote

I did not like the mini-sets, so I am not going to subscribe to Brickmaster if all I get are mini sets. I wish they would have impulse sets instead. Quote
jifel Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I saw the mini ATTE yesterday, in my new LEGO Magazine, but I figured it was already here. On the new sets, I will probably buy the AT-OT, Snail Droid, and then if I have extra a RGS and a spider droid, but I am ordering my ATTE soon! jifel Quote
halomaster96 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I saw that in my magazine, it looks much better than the old one. Do you think the pic should go on the first post? Quote

Cant wait to get mine. Im not a huge fan of the minis exept the ones brickmaster has produced. They are always making my favorite ships. The middle legs look a little big but overall still really cool. Quote
starstreak Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Too bad its gonna be latter half of the year. Isn't there like 2 "normal" brickmaster sets b4 another SW set? Thankyou. I havent seen that yet. It looks quite good and that background is from Downfall of a Droid Quote
Big Pete Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Too bad its gonna be latter half of the year. Isn't there like 2 "normal" brickmaster sets b4 another SW set? July / August issue is the next one to get a SW set. The next two are, from memory, a truck and a bin lorry. Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 That ATTE is a nice rehash of the old one. I dont like these mini star wars models I wish they were small models with minifigs. Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 The design of the mini doesn't look bad at all, except for those giant middle feet! It's not a problem for me anyway as I have never been interested in anything other than system-scale sets. Quote
Skipper 24 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 It's a shame LEGO don't sell Brick Master in any other countries than the US. The mini looks quite good anyway apart from the legs. Haven't LEGO already made a mini AT-TE? Quote

legopiotre Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 This mini is far better than the oldest version !, it is a shame it can not be bought exept with the Brickmaster magazine. Indeed, the middle leg is rather strange, but there are so many details ! Quote
The Rancor Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 It doesn't look like it's been mentioned lately in this thread (I've looked a few pages back) but the ATOT and Dropship have now been changed back from 10th of April to 30th of March, in the UK! I'll be ordering it ASAICO (As Soon As It Comes Out)! As for Brickmaster - meh... I'm nor really too envious of those mini sets, I suppose they would only have a few useful parts). I'm making plans for Star Wars purchses in the Summer, based on minifigs, detail, value for money and and mechanical parts. I've just seen the episode of Star Wars Clone Wars on the Rodian planet - I think I've been tempted to get the Separatist Shuttle. Those minifigs look so sweet! Quote

The AT-OT released date was mentioned but maybe not in the last few pages. It's not available for preorder yet though. Was Bombad Jedi on tonight here in the UK because I've just seen the people who live opposite me watching it on their giant TV. I had no sound but I enjoyed it anyway! Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Frontpaged It is? I can't see it. (Sorry, if it takes time to update and I'm being impatient) Also, which piece is used for the seat on the top gun? Quote
