Natman8000 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I gotta get too target now! Finally, they come out to the public!By the way, who likes my Cowboy Clone avatar? (No replies) Its... interesting. I want to get the general grievous mini, it looks decently made and fun. Quote
ILikePi Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Its... interesting. I want to get the general grievous mini, it looks decently made and fun. It has a small amount of SNOT in it. Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 It has a small amount of SNOT in it. Thats the main reason I like it. It has that intricate look to it. And who says there will be a Tantive IV UCS? A play set would be a much better choice in my opinion, assuming its real. Quote
JimBee Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Excellent, I'll be going to Target ASAP to get these. $3.75 is a great price, too, considering the price:parts ratio. I especially like the Greivous Fighter, because of it's sleekness and innovative use of the black slope for the windshield. EDIT: The new Star Wars magnet sets are now available on S@H in America! They are 14.99 USD each. Episode I Magnet Set Episode VI Magnet Set Episode III Magnet Set Clone Wars Magnet Set Quote
ILikePi Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 (edited) The magnet sets were already at S@H for the US for a while already... Edited March 9, 2009 by ILikePi Quote
halomaster96 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Do we have a picture of the mini V-19 on the first post. Quote
Derek Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Do we have a picture of the mini V-19 on the first post. Probably not, because it was technically released as a promo in 2008. Quote
CloneMe Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Probably not, because it was technically released as a promo in 2008. Where do you find them? Like store wise here in the US. Id like to get some but Im not sure where they are. And same goes with the mini grevious's ship. Quote
Lt. Veers Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I can't seem to find the magnet set with the Stormtrooper, Rebel Pilot and AT-ST driver. Quote

KimT Posted March 9, 2009 Author Posted March 9, 2009 Do we have a picture of the mini V-19 on the first post. There should be a link for the "2008 Picture and rumor discussion" in the first post. I am sure you'll finde mini V19 there along with the mini Tie and mini Snowspeeder. Quote
starstreak Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Gee Pi, you commented on where I got them on my flickr site, yet you point to the blog that Brickset used. Anyways, here are the two bag shots someone in a previous post wanted. Special shout goes out to "HamSalad" who pointed it out to me on Flickr where to buy mine. Quote
Legoman Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Could someone pick a few of each up for me? I could possably trade (have some figs and bits, mabye a couple of sets) Flick me a PM if you can help, i probably want 5 of each. These mini's are great. However it's a shame the value of the V-19 has dropped so rapidly Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Well here are my opinions: Venator: Doesn't looks like the best set ever but will probably get because of Senate Guards and Palpatine Y-Wing: At first sight I didn't think was too good but now I think it is very scaled and is a pretty good set Endor Bunker: WOW! This set is marvelous and will definetly pick one up Hoth Battlepack: Looks okay but they should've added more details AT-OT: This is even better than the Endor Bunker but will only get it when its on sale because of its price Corporate Alliance Tank Droid: Looks very good and 4 figs for a 25 USD set! Pirate Tank: Looks okay but I need to see more pics to see if I will get it MSMF: As I said about the Pirate Tank, I need to see more pics Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 (good job CC77 )^ I dont really like the v-19 mini. I like the medium scale but the cockpit gives it a strange look but then again, what alternative is there? Quote
KimT Posted March 9, 2009 Author Posted March 9, 2009 C'mon people! The V19 Mini is from 2008, so no need to discuss it here. Try reading the reviews of it instead. You can even post your comments on it there. 8031 V-19 Torrent Review 2 It's always a good plan to check the review index when speculating about already released sets Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 (edited) Does anybody know when the Brickmaster AT-TE comes out? Also did TLC say anything about the Pirate Tank or the Millenium Falcon? Also I think the Pirate Tank will be special edition because like the Spider Droid last year it wasn't mentioned until later in the year. Looks like there are a few mini's this year Edited March 9, 2009 by CommanderCody77 Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Grievous Starfighter mini isnt new either. No, it's not. I found that on Target.com in about September last year, when I found pics of the Republic Shuttle and Hyena Bomber. Quote
starstreak Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 My excuse is Hawaii never got a Target till last week. And I never saw it anywhere till now. Maybe, while it was released last year, it was very limited? No, it's not. I found that on Target.com in about September last year, when I found pics of the Republic Shuttle and Hyena Bomber. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Neither are new, but both are in the public for the first time! In all, like 50 people could get their Grubby hands on a V-19, and even though Greivous's Starfighter was ON Target.com, doesn't mean it was even available! Quote
JimBee Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I can't seem to find the magnet set with the Stormtrooper, Rebel Pilot and AT-ST driver. Yes, your right, it's not there for some reason... IlikePi, I don't think that the magnet sets availability in the U.S has been mentioned here before. But if I'm wrong, apologies. No, it's not. I found that on Target.com in about September last year, when I found pics of the Republic Shuttle and Hyena Bomber. But it was never available- not even as a promo- before now. The V-19 was a promo before, but now it's being mass-produced. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I found a bunch of Torrents and Grevious Starfighters at my local Target in the Easter section. It's nice that these are more readily available now. Quote
