CloneMe Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 The date for 10195 has changed on LEG.com to March 30th (again ). That is really stupid. Lego needs to make their mind up, but on the other hand it gives me more time to save up for it. Quote
ILikePi Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Gee Pi, you commented on where I got them on my flickr site, yet you point to the blog that Brickset used. Sorry about that...I forgot to put yours (I was in a hurry). I'll add your links to my post. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I atually thought that the Y-wing was going to be decent, but since it doesn't have a swivelling turret... Quote

SWMAN Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 The date for 10195 has changed on LEG.com to March 30th (again ). I am not surprised it changed back. Lego has switched the date multiple times, and they picture says March 30th, so I think they will stick with that. I am glad they did because I need to upgrade my computer and I don't really want to be tempted to do that and buy the set. Quote

Derek Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 I got the two mini sets today, they are a fantastic value for the price, I suggest you get them if and while you can! The V-19 is especially a value, because it has 66 pieces, when the price could have easily doubled, being a SW set and all. I might post a review of Grievous's fighter later on... Quote

Natman8000 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 How much are they? Weren't they $3.75? Thats how much I saw them for. Quote
starstreak Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 Some lego fan figured out that Target in Hawaii carried the minis. The guy in the area said he sold out of them yesterday when a guy came in and bought out all 30 in stock. *sigh* I at least only took a couple of each to keep some for the next guy. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 (edited) Awww I don't like minis that much, maybe it's that I never see that in Australian shops Anyway, I'm definately getting that 10195 Republic Dropship and AT-OT! Zzz Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 1. Funny that there are once again small and medium sets of the original movies coming out this year (after the 500€ set years), but we don't get the main character: Luke Skywalker! 2. The new OT 10th anniversary boxes look too sweet, but give me the feeling of a "best of tour" to end a once good career of an old rock band that got spiritless.. It seems like an end to me. 3. Does anyone remember the wishlist on fbtb, started early this century? TLC gives us exactly what people wanted: new Ewoks, Endor, General Ackbar, Mon Mothma (sp?), Tauntauns.. 4. The OT minifigs are the only ones left without detailed faces (no pupils) - they are anywhere else: Batman, Indy, Clone Wars, City, Castle, Space, Pirates. I see that TLC tries at least to give the line some consistent look, but the change from yellow to flesh really destroyed that already. It is time for a new Han, Leia and Luke. Even Stormies get upgrades! zzz out Quote

I can't stand when people do that. Why would you need 30 of the same sets!? Save some for the kids, thats why they are there in the Easter section! 1. You know, I still don't have a figure of him. Too bad they didn't put him in the Hoth set with another Tauntaun. That would have made my year.... Quote

Maybe they'll release a Wampa Cave set or something in January 2010. This year, all the January sets were Clone Wars, so next year, they might all be OT. I was trying to think of some small OT sets they could do and that was one of my ideas. Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted March 12, 2009 Posted March 12, 2009 There's quite a lot of OT sets coming later this year, hoping for more than that is only going to leave you disappointed. We got so many Clone Wars sets because that's what's in demand, they're the sets being advertised each week by the TV show, and they're the sets that are going to sell the most. Quote

Give the guy the benefit of the doubt. For only 4$ each they make perfect stocking stuffers and egg stuffers. I know they will be a hit. I wish TLC would do this more often. Quote

I kinda felt bad, but got over it when I realized that there were about 16 more left on the shelf. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) I just bought the two Target mini's today. Both are highly recommended, though Greivous's starfighter is a bit odd, and the V-19 only has one Republic symbol, I fixed the second one, and can cope with the first. They are both well designed, and when I saw them a picked up a whole bunch. But then when I realized when they were both 4 bucks each, Only for of those is $16,) I only took one of each. Maybe the prices are lower in other places. Remember, look in the Easter section, not the Lego section! Edited March 13, 2009 by Darth Legolas Quote
