The Who Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Maybe the prices are lower in other places. Gee, I didn't think prices were very high in Strawberry Fields (Forever). Do you happen to have any long haired friends there, like these guys. (click) Quote
ILikePi Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, the last time I went to the LEGO Store, I saw a stormtrooper with a (possibly) new torso. Does anyone know if it's actually new or going to be in sets from now on? Here's a link my big picture (it's too big to put here...): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ILikePi/Store/store_4.jpg The middle part of the torso is darker than the current ones. Also, some of the new keychains are out (like Count Dooku), but no sign of the new SW magnet sets yet in stores (except for the one with Chewbacca, Obi-Wan, and Darth Vader). There's also a chrome gold 2 x 4 brick keychain, but it was blocked by some kid's hand that was in my picture... (no it's not mine ) . It's the one with a yellow tag. The thing is that only the top and sides are covered with chrome. The inside is just a unpainted tan brick. P.S. I have no idea why there's keychains of minifigures like policemen. You can get the real minifigure for less than $3.50 USD in an impulse set. EDIT: Also note that I took the picture on March 3rd, so there might've been new things. Commander Flash Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I sure do . I'll have to check target tommarrow... Quote

I don't really know if it will be in future sets, but my guess is yes, because that would be a waste of a change otherwise. Either way, I don't like it. Quote

CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Ahh we don't get any Lego store in Australia We really need one in every state (mainly QLD) so we must build one imediately! If only real life buildings were as easy to build as Lego bricks! Quote

If anyone in Canada sees them, let me know. Quote

If anyone in Canada sees them, let me know. There's a 2% chance these will be on Shop@home. These are REALLY exclusives, for the first time! They're not just marked "limited edition." But since they're in the U.S., they should be in Canada. Do you have a Target nearby? Quote
The Who Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 We really need one in every state (mainly QLD) so we must build one imediately! Yeah, we do need a Lego store in every state in the USA, but how does that affect Australia? Quote
ADHO15 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Yeah, we do need a Lego store in every state in the USA, but how does that affect Australia? He means there should be a LEGO store in the Australian state of Queensland (QLD), I assume. Quote

Just look at Mace Windu! Quote

I thought they were just regions or something. And is the Yoda magnet fig any different at all from the other one in the AAT? He means there should be a LEGO store in the Australian state of Queensland (QLD), I assume. There are no Lego shops in Australia (you know the ones that only sell lego exclusives). None at all! We had a new Rebel mold for battle packs, so I predict we will get a new mold for Imperials (such as a Death Star Gunner). We had a new mold for the Clone Battle Packs in 2007, and we had a new printed figure (Clone Heavy Gunner) so we might get Droid Commandos in 2011. That 's what I predict for next year! We also need Clone Medics and Clone Explosive Specialist (the one on Blue Shadow Virus) Quote

I know it's fake, but someone listed it as a new 2009 SW set on BS... idiot Thought i would show you before some novice says its a new set Quote

Territories, Australian Capital Territory (with Canberra the capital), and the Northern Territory. And Yes Australia should get a Lego shop too, In Brisbane, or somewhere, but not up north with all the cyclones. Are any of the magnets different?. Quote
Natman8000 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Legoman, that is one of the ugliest starfighters ever. Im glad thats not a set. Why do we need anymore starfighters anyway? Quote
Smithy_Boy Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 For a split-second I actually thought that, that was a real set . Anyways I so excited for the release of 10195, I think I might actually get that set when it comes out. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 That fighter looks very ugly and its not even sleek! Also we can't even see the minifig in the cockpit! Anyways back on topic, do you think the Pirate Tank will have engines? Also are there any rumors about 2010 yet? Quote
KimT Posted March 15, 2009 Author Posted March 15, 2009 A lot of the previous posts haven't been about rumors or upcoming sets. Please stay on topic people. If you feel like discussing where Star Wars lego is available or not and the consequences, then please do so in the Star Wars sets anyone?-topic. I know that questions may pop up here which aren't totally on topic and that's ok, but let's not get too derailed on what it is that we're actually discussing here. As for the Pirate Tank's engines - haven't you seen the prelims flooding BS for more than a month now? You should be able to get an acceptable view and idea of the set from them. Quote
-JD- Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I think the Venator could use a better interior. All the space at the back for the 'turret' and the pilot seat could be another bit of interior. I would like the turret if you pressed something and it went to the other side and pressed again it would go to the other, but at the moment it looks a little bit fiddly. As for that pilot seat, ! How random can you be LEGO? Apart from those two things I dislike, the set looks sleek and just generally . JD Quote
Darth Legolas Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 (edited) That's hilarious! Whoever falls for that has to be either not looking closely or dumber than Jar-Jar Binx!! No offense to anyone who did at first glance. ( ) But really, poor editing, and not to mention Saesee Tiin won't be in the Clone Wars series until Season 2! (Heads up!) Anyways, sorry KimT for discussing where to find the mini's. EDIT: Endor BP! Sign me up! I'm not an OT guy, as we all know, but those rebel helmets are so shiny! ADHO15 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I thought the figher looked pretty decent. The letters gave it away as a fake though. As well as the, what will be old, CW design, reused pieces and poor detail. I don't mean to insult the creator. It's a nice MOC, it just doesn't look like a real set. Quote
