If history repeats itself (which it does  ), next years BP's will be OT (Endor? :cry_happy: ).

I know it's fake, but someone listed it as a new 2009 SW set on BS... idiot :hmpf_bad:

Thought i would show you before some novice says its a new set

Mmm...that fighter doesn't look like Saesee Tiin's. Saesee Tiin's would be like that orangish-yellowish color or that other fighter that he uses that isn't a Jedi starfighter.

I want the clone jetpacks for my SW sigfig, hopefully the BL prices won't be that high. And I might BL the parts for the dropship only.

Lol. That has got to be the ugliest star fighter ever. Theres no way that even is remotely like his actual one. Wow. This is terrible. But on topic.many people are complaining that the mini v19 torrent was an 08 release. You still have to think. They are just now being released. And the mini grevious' ship is on the front page.

It's right that the ''Mini V-19'' was an 2008 realese.

The first ones in public are from last year, I think from Europe, too.

Now 'Target' decides to sell them in the USA, but a half year later...

By the way the ''Mini Grievous Fighter'' is an 2009 realese set.

We had a new mold for the Clone Battle Packs in 2007, and we had a new printed figure (Clone Heavy Gunner) so we might get Droid Commandos in 2011.

That 's what I predict for next year!

This is still 2009, next year is 2-0-1-0.

Wasn't it a prize for a contest around December also? KimT? Anyone?

Perhaps he, like many others around here, myself included, are still hoping to get Endor Rebels and some form of Imperials as 2010 battle packs, and he was right in saying droid commandos in 2011. Probably it was just a slip though.

More on topic, when does anybody think the summer sets will start showing up? Late June, July? I know Toy Fair said August, but that is what Toy Fair usually says and the sets still hit shelves before that. Has there been any announced date, like there was last year?

On the subject of the future, what do you think the next 'chrome' thing will be? Or will it be not a chrome givaway? I like the idea of Endor BPs or perhaps EP III clone battle pack with new helmets.

Yes, there was a free raffle for it. :classic:

Last year the summer CW wave came out on July 26th (correct me if I'm wrong). So expect them to start appearing around that time. I've got to save up for Endor, Hoth, and the snail tank. :classic:

There is a small review video of the Venator on SW.com: Link

Nothing really new, but a nice way of seeing all the functions of the set.

Thanks for the information!

But I think this video isn't something new.

I thought someone posted this before, sorry if it's wrong...

But thanks anyway.

Im not so sure anyone did. But it dosent matter. This set is a must get for me. It is my most favorite ship in star wars and is probably one of the most bad a. looking. This set looks really good. Thanks for the link.

I don't know if this been said before...

But the realese-date of the '10195: Dropship with AT-OT' changed again in Europe.

And ''just'' a month later than the United States :sadnew: ...

@#%$?@! why does the USA always get everything sooner than or instead of Europe? First no Chrome Vaders (yet) and second no Space Police in toys shops in the UK? Couldn't we at least have something earlier than the USA? :hmpf:

(this question is not intended to be answered. It might well be a rant, but don't go miles off topic with it. Just a passing comment!)

As for the 2009 Summer sets themselves, I have only just found much better pics of the sets at the Toyfair, but I won't bother posting a link because I'm almost certain someone or many people will have already seen them!

Corporate Alliance Droid: has a good balance of minifigs (2 NORMAL/jetpack clones) and I believe is better value than the Spider Droid.

Echo Base: don't like the look of the price because there aren't many pieces, but I like the 'playablility' of the Turret.

Separatist Shuttle: looks very small for its passengers but it does have very essential minifigs (Namely 'Uncle Onno')

Y-Wing: still looks like a regurgitated version of the future one (which I know is the idea), but figs could have been 2 Pilots!

Venator: has very nice minifigs, but due to the actual space inside the ship and the features I've seen, I doesn't it merits the price.

Battle of Endor: The perfect battle  (I wish there was just one more Death Star trooper though!)

ATOT and Dropship: Well, apart from the ever-changing release date, this is one baby (or babies!) I'm definately buying :sweet:

Calm down, guys! This may not even be the final release date! For the US, it said March 10 for a while, but was then changed back to 30th.

Besides, are you really all that eager to spend 250 Euros?

And just for the record: You did get something earlier than us - the magnificent Fighter Tank! And we had to wait much more than a month to get it, so don't forget that!

And I'm pretty sure the video I posted hasn't been posted before.

You're welcome. :classic:

I am kind of happy the AT-OT has been stalled in the UK. Atleast now I have a chance of getting the money before it comes out! On the other hand, LEGO should stick to the dates they made first. :sadnew:

Ah yes, my mistake. However, it was the same price in £ as it was in $ :hmpf:

And, yes, I am THAT eager to spend £166 of Lego savings on the ATOT and Dropship!

I been seeing far more Clone Wars lately, and I noticed there was an episode on a planet like Hoth.

The Clone had sleek enclosed landspeeders (which I didn't catch the name of) and speederbikes.

I would love to see Lego make some Phase I Snow troopers from this episode as well.

I also noticed that the Republic Shuttle (like the red one from SW Episode I opening) pops up a lot in the Clone Wars.

Well Europe, or Sweden actually got the Chrome Vader before anyone else.

How'd you think CopMike and Ras got theirs? - with a special release of the 8017 Vader's Tie.

Also from what I've found out, it seems that UK will be more than overwhelmed within long.

TLG has decided to put great effort into the UK market and I am sure (crossing fingers) that'll mean minis and specials in the UK to boost the market percentage.

Soon the rest of us wont have to order those minis and stuff like that from the US no more.

(darn smart Americans making gooooood money on BL )

Thanks for the videolink Oky

First time I've got a good look at the interior of that lunchbox ship.

Cockpit and clone pilot - yeah right!

And the wing opens for the artillery :hmpf:

A "good" ship indeed

I would be one of those Americans, but I would rather not ship outside the US.

And yes, those details really make me want to buy that ship even more. :sadnew:

Planet: Orto Plutonia

The landspeeders: Freeco Bike. (CK-6 Swoop.)

I am crossing my fingers they don't change the American date again, but I'm still waiting 'till summer for cash anyway.

Thanks for the video! It definitely makes me want the ship more, and I think they have done a much better job designing a ship with playability and interior space than they did with the old Star Destroyer (6211).

Is anyone here actually planning on getting the dropship for real? Are you going to review it? :classic:

I have the money here ready and am just waiting for the final, fixed release date. I will review it if nobody beats me to it. The ways it's going at the moment, it looks like US will get it a month before the UK so I doubt I'll have chance.

I know you are entitled to your own opinion, but do you even have that set?! The Venator wastes sooo much space, its a shame that they didn't to an open interior like in 6211. Half of the ship (All of the interior space... :hmpf:) is wasted on Palpatine's office....

I do agree that the playability on the Venator is better, but only missile/bomb wise...

A better question, my friend, do you have that set?

I can easily rip out the interior of the Venator once I get it, and then put whatever I want in there, duh!

Agreed, a ship that size is easily modded. I also think the venator has too much technic.
