Oh, I just thought of something.

Does anyone know if the Chewbacca in Endor Battle has a bowcaster? The picture of the top of the box on the first post doesn't show him with one. Also, the box art shows a scout trooper (biker scout) with a gun, but the top doesn't.

£40 is a lot of money for a set like that. I could get two Snail Tanks with that money!

Speaking of the Snail Tank, how many of you are actually going to use those 'launchers' that fire the clones up in the air? I'll break it up and use it as spare parts.

I agree, I probably will just load up on Snail tanks. And with the launcher, of course it will be used for spare parts. Smaller Mocs and Sets normally get broken down very soon.

I took the Boba Fett launcher straight off the Sail Barge. I don't find them useful at all. I'd rather pick up the fig and move them rather than fire them across the room (or just on the floor next to the catapult in most cases!)

Since we ruled out black heads, here are the options:

1. Clone Face. (Boo!)

2. Argyus face. Yes, so many Argyus's! The ugly is killing me!

3. Blank Fleshie face, with nothing on it, like the Stormtroopers on the ISD.

There's no option of Smiley Face, because CW people have their funny, weird faces.

I'm pretty sure it'll be a clone face, as much as I hope it won't be.

I doubt he will have a bowcaster as he's shown in the AT-ST. This sort of means TLG should include a holder for it inside, and it seems too small to fit one. Also, the Toy Fair box art isn't final, I don't think, so don't worry about the scout.

Probably correct there. I dont think I will be getting that set, as i dont think its worth it. Great set, but just not worth the money.

The Venator, Endor and AT-OT sets are on my B'day and Xmas lists, so I don't really care about the price.

I know, but TLG usually keeps a unique weapon like that with the fig. We'll have to wait and see.

Good point. If those BPs include ewoks and rebels from Endor, I will skip the Endor set as well.

That seemed to be the case with all teh other battle packs. You just had to wait one year. But there is also a big chanse that the 2010 Bettle packs will be Hoth related. Anyway, this is a clear indication why Lego want's to keep the future releases top-secret, seeiing how it can influence our shopping behaviour.

Well im just going to wait till there is a review on the ventor cause it looks like a bunch of plats like the star destorer which we all know was fragile.I know in geting endor base, and the tank droid aslo the set with nute gunray. plus I just became a eurobricks vassal yay even if I dont know what that means??

A vassal is the lowest rank in EuroBricks. A vassal was a medieval knight who was given a fief (land).

You also have lots of mistakes in your post.

You won't be much longer if you keep talking like that...

I think that the 2010 battle packs will be Endor themed. We have a battle pack type Hoth set coming up this year, and Endor is an expensive set, so I think they will make battle packs with the figures then. I think its similar to what they did last year with the clones: put only a few of them in expensive set at first, so they will sell for the novelty, and then the next wave they made battle packs with clones...

I wouldn't be that sure about that the 2010 BPs will be OT. Of course it would be logic since there was always a change between OT and PT/CW the last years. But that doesn't say anything for the future. I fear that after this year (2009) which sees some awesome OT sets we won't get many OT sets in the future because TLG will regrettably mainly concentrate on CW. So it might even be that next year's January BPs will be CW.

Apart from that I think that some Endor BPs are - if there are OT BPs - the most supposable since then you could add many additional minifigs to The Battle of Endor.

Some Hoth BPs are totally unrealistic since we already have this big Hoth BP (Echo Base) this summer. The only Hoth related set I could imagine for 2010 would be a Wampa cave with Wampa, Luke and another Tauntaun.

I surely will buy the Endor set since it is great. And what is a Battle of Endor without the bunker?! - Nothing!

Well I'm just getting the Venator because I'm a bad MOC'er so if I made it it would be quite bad.

I think they should have made a new face for the DS gunner in the Endor set. I just noticed... no flick fire missiles in the Endor playset!

I also really like the Venator but I don't know why some people said it looks ugly and bad.

I like the Venator, I just don't need it. I only need the figs, and am running out of space for my Lego stuff fast, plus I already got the 'small' Star Destroyer, which is close enough for me.

The Venator seems like a much better deal than the Republic Attack Gunship, for the same price. It's probably much larger...that's the reason why I want it.
