Rocky Raccoon Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I think it would be cool to have a mid-scale falcon. It would be easier to put on shelves, unlike the UCS, which is also cool. Quote
Commander Assassin Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I see no point in the Mid-Scale Falcon, I mean it has no figures, no compartments and it won't fit it with any other sets. Not a good make by Lego in my opinion. I agree. I personally think half of the reason I buy the sets are because of the mini-figs, as I want to expand my collection. We'll just have to wait and see how "no lego-people" will go over w/ the kids! Quote
Darth Legolas Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I hear that the Brickmaster AT-TE mini will be an exclusive in EUrope. Even though it doesn't matter to me, does anyone know where it will be sold? Quote
Bricks Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I hear that the Brickmaster AT-TE mini will be an exclusive in EUrope. Even though it doesn't matter to me, does anyone know where it will be sold? Maybe you can get this in Europea via S@H and his special ''Club''-member promotionals... They are till now the same as the U.S. 'Brickmaster' sets! 'Bricks' Quote
The Who Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 I think it would be cool to have a mid-scale falcon. It would be easier to put on shelves, unlike the UCS, which is also cool. It doesn't even fit on a shelf. Mine fills up all of the space on a 3 and 3/4 ft. by 1 and 1/2 ft. 'cabinet.' I would buy it if it came with even just one new minifig, but it doesn't even have that. Don't get me wrong here, it looks great, I just do not see much point in making another one. Quote

He was saying that the new one will fit on a shelf, not that the UCS can fit on a shelf. I also am not too interested in a model without minifigures, but collectors or model-lovers will probably be happy. I hope that the Star Wars sets will show up soon in some country somewhere, like the Indiana Jones sets have been over in the Licensed Theme forum. Quote

RileyC Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 I wont be getting the new millennium falcon it seems like a waste of money to me. I wouldnt see myself paying heaps of money for something that doesnt have an interior Quote
Filip Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 I am now totally in love with the Endor Attack set. Perhaps I could get it at christmas . Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I'm on a turning point on the Venator, I think I'm starting to like it! Quote
Skipper 24 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 I'm on a turning point on the Venator, I think I'm starting to like it! Any particular part or just it in general? I still don't like the set at all, it looks too stubby to me and doesn't have enough detailing etc. Quote
The Who Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Any particular part or just it in general? I still don't like the set at all, it looks too stubby to me and doesn't have enough detailing etc. I think he means just the Venator in general. It looks all right, but is too expensive for only five minifigs, IMO. Same deal with the AT-OT and LAAT/c, although it has a few more figs. Quote

The At-Ot needs way more mini figs though for what TLG is asking for. Quote

Well I'm not going to get the MSMF because: Probably no interior No figs and I don't need a MSMF. Also, how did you change your group to I'm new? Sorry for off-topic Quote
Clone OPatra Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Also, how did you change your group to I'm new? Sorry for off-topic He didn't change it. Check this thread for the answer. I personally will not be getting the MSMF anyway, but maybe LEGO will surprise everyone and add a micro-size interior. It won't sell the set to me, but it'll make lots of other people happy, and I'll love seeing pictures of it. (What're the odds, though?) Quote

Odds are about the same as a little old lady giving you 13 Chrome Vaders and 13 Chrome 3PO's free that she only took to church on Sundays, and left on display otherwise. Do you know what those odds are? (Exactly my point) Sorry for off-topicness KimT. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 (edited) Ha, We'd be better off getting another set of Middle scale TIE Fighters than another Falcon! (That is my personal opinion, if you don't like it, slam your hands on your keyboard and scream!) Edited April 9, 2009 by CloneCommanderDelta7 Quote
simonjedi Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 larger pic available of the book. Fig is Luke, not sure what his costume is, i think it'll be ANH medal costume, based on hair, black trousers and tan style torso. Quote
KimT Posted April 9, 2009 Author Posted April 9, 2009 Fig could be Luke.. It says: "Not final", so we really can't say yet. Thanks for finding the larger pic. Quote
Bricklanta Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 If it's Luke with the medal costume I'm buying the book. Quote
-JD- Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 I was going to get it before I knew about the figure. When I found out it had a figure I was even happier. It is good of LEGO to add a little bonus like that. Has it ever happened before? Quote
The Who Posted April 9, 2009 Posted April 9, 2009 Fig could be Luke..It says: "Not final", so we really can't say yet. Ah, but we can. The figure itself is not final, but they have clearly decided on Luke, as it says so under the picture. You may not hear it, ( ) but it says in tiny white letters, "Luke Skywalker." (Insert father dialogue here) Has it ever happened before? Not often that TLG include a fig with suff other than normal sets. Quote

It is good of LEGO to add a little bonus like that. Has it ever happened before? They included a yoda mini fig in some versions of Lego Star Wars the Video Game in 2005. I can't seem to find a picture though. I'm surprised TLC didn't show off the pirate tank at Toy Fair. Quote

I think TLC should show us some more pictures because if we don't have pictures how are we going to decide if we're going to get it??? Quote
