You sure you're going to but it  ? Any way back on topic, YG-49 If I'm looking at the same bow it is one that has been used before in may castle sets.

Finally we get individual soldiers in one set! I hope they will do the new Battlepacks with the Endor theme. This soldiers are just wonderful! (Especially the "Darth Vaders apprentice"-one.)

Oh, I´ve got a nice dream of Endor Battlepacks:

Rebel Pack:

2 Endor Rebels, 2 Ewoks, catapult

Imperial Pack:

2 Scouttrooper, 2 Navy Trooper/Officers, Speederbike or crappy Tandem-bike

While the new Endor set looks simply amazing, I have a feeling I will have to pass. I am running out of room for more Lego's, and honestly it has gotten out of hand. I just recently purchased the AT-OT and Dropship and for three weeks haven't touched it. It is still sitting in the box on my floor. I have no desire to build it anymore. So, I will take a break for a while. Too bad, because the set is simply awesome.

26.99 EUR for this set will probably work out about ?15 -?20 here in the UK I think.

It will probably be the same price as the Hailfire Droid set (£18).

I am so happy that we get two speeders in the Endor Base. I will probably use them in my CW dioramas. The ewoks look so innocent with their huge eyes.

Greetings,

JD

I just noticed that the Endor Rebels have Backpacks of some sort. I doubt it's a new piece though. I think it is probably made using the angled hinge neck piece the the sand troopers use.

That is a feather (The one used in Medieval Village for the birds) in dark green. A normal backpack in green would have been fine. (So yes it likely is what you said)

A backpack might not fit on fully with those chunk helmets on.

Nice pics!

Now I hope they come out with Endor themed battle packs (4 Rebel Commandos and a Forest Ranger vehicle would be awesome!).

Forest Ranger vehicle with tank treads, now THAT would be sweet.

Completely non-canon, but sweet.

This could be quite likely. After all are any of the BP vehicles canon?

In the giant pic of the Endor Battle set ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/-chuckc-/3446544012/sizes/o/ ) Chief Chirpa (with the staff) has nice little scar on his uhh.. Head scarf? (WAIT?! A scar on a SCARF?! :oh: )

That's not Chief Chirpa, Chirpa is the grey Ewok but they misplaced the staff. ARGGH! And the scar looks nice, indeed. It gives more detail to it and makes it look more real. I am looking forward to another cheaper set with Ewoks..and hopefully maybe the whole tribe in a set with the Ewok village. Has anyone noticed that the speeders from the Endor bunker are different than the speeder from the RGS from last year? A few other colors, some pieces are replaced, and the backpack on the back of the speeder sits on a 2x3 plate. It would be nice to get some new Imperial Officers, the last one was like 3 years ago. (Grand Moff Tarkin is an officer too, but higher rank and different from the normals.)

In the Toy Fair galleries on Flickr they seem to be just this neck piece with stud at the back plus an 1x1 plate in dark green.

The STAP from 7654 is Canon. The rest was just inspiered by other SW vehicles.

Looks great! :classic:

Love the rebels and the ewoks.

The imp. officer and the computers behind him looks also interesting.

Tank treads would be great, but not sure if it would need them. Not sure how you would get the cockpit open with tank treads.

Tank Dreads? It's a repulsorcraft! It doesn't drive on the ground, it hovers! like an AAT!

I am guessing that Lego will take advantage of the new Endor set and release a few more sets based off of it.
