It's not eve illegal to take pictures about secret set prototypes in the LEGO factory, it's just LEGO tries to hide them so no one can, mainly because if a prototype pic gets out everybody freaks out how poorly it looks; well duuuh, that's a prototype. Hmm... wrong. They're afraid that people will rip off their ideas, and as unlikely as it is, seeing as Lucas would be on their tails along with TLG, that doesn't make it anymore legal. It just isn't, okay? The next person to ask about leaked pictures... really... stop it. No more legal junk.... if pics come our way, then huzah... but you shouldn't ask if they don't exist yet! But, to get to the point, I'm pretty sure that list is wrong. If you got it from The Lego Star Wars Wiki, I'm sorry but that place really has wrong answers. They have red links to things already written all over the place, they have opinions like "Obi-Wan's 2002 fighter is the exact same as Anakin's fighter," which it isn't, and they have missing major important articles. Plus, we already have 2 official sources against that, and a third, don't forget, my pics from the Lego brickmaster mag up on the first page, proving there will be Senate Commandos, but not listed once there. I'm sorry to tell you all, but I think there will only be 5 minifigs on the Venator. It isn't too bad for me, because with it all added up I'll have more then 20 clones with the collection of just Clone Wars troopers (Phase I), and I'd like to see those jump troopers and Onocadda Farr on Gunray's shuttle. I am going to say that these are not legit. These contradict most of the figure lists that we have seen. Quote
General Magma Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Well the 5 Venator minifigs (Palpatine, 2 clone's, 2 Senate Commando's) are ok to me, as I'm already getting like 10 Clone Battlepacks. I wonder if 40+ clones even fit in that Venator? I doubt that anything of that list is true, but we will have to wait. It is worth the wait..(or, is it?) Quote

Motti Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 (edited) I was looking to see whether or not the Sep shuttle would be the one with the cokpit or the automated one. It's the automated one, but the version we are going to get as Lego is a third variant. It matches the clour scheme the Penguin described and besides, it's the one from the Clone Wars. CopMike Well I think you're right about the bubble, it's the perfect fit, as well, I think it will be just like the normal Y-wing, except there will be a closed cylinder around the two engine, instead of an open hole, and the bubble turret. I hope it has guns popping out though. EDIT: I knew the wiki list was wrong. Just as JimboJones said, he put up a list of wanted figs and some crazy guy put it up on wikipedia as an official list. I think possibly the third variant is piloted, and not automated... but possibly instead of windows in the cockpit where they can see the battle they only have scanners, like a flying tank. Quote

It'll be good to have some Pilot Droids, though according to The Penguin, they'll just be regular BD's. I hope they have the new straight arms though. I really wonder what Piece Lego will use for the cockpit... possible the same as in the V-Wing, anyone? Maybe an entirely new cockpit window! Quote

It also enloses completely. This one half encloses. The closest match I have from existing pieces is the cockpit piece from the Agents helicopter (yeah, the ugly boxy one). I hope it'll be a new piece. But one thing's certain: It'll have loads of stickers! . If it contains regular BDs, (hopefully they'll change it in the final set)m I'll just get my pilot droids from my MTT. It's also supposed to have a gunner, so maybe space for 2 at the cockpit? You say that like Greedo is in every set. I think Onaconda Farr would be a really nice (even if unneeded) addition to the set. However, I think that we are LONG overdue for a Padme, and its rediculous that we havent had one for 10 years. Quote

First, she arguably doesn't get a big role.More controversially, SW tends to be a male series (I said tends all right!). It may also be Lego sexism. She is overshadowed by her daughter it seems, and Leia, as we know, is frequently in the spotlight. In fact, even if Padmé makes a major role in the series, Lego will still not make one (seriously, she's not even a combat hero, so it's understandable). And about Onaconda Farr, as I stated before, he's really a turncoat to both the CIS and the Republic, so nobody wants him. Also, we should get as much new moulds as we can whilst the CW series runs, otherwise, we may never get any more. If the final set includes him, sure, I'll buy the set, but I'll feed him to my rancor. Hahaha. Edited January 5, 2009 by Motti Quote
