This is on-topic: "I heard a rumour that they're coming out with Star Wars lego this year! "

Most of the "rumours" and "news" posted here is about as obvious as that. Maybe one in 100 posts in this thread provide genuine, unheard-as-of-yet news.

That's what we want to hear in 2012!

I like the mini gunship but Australia doesn't get brickmaster. And we have to pay $15 AUD for the normal Lego Club Magazine. Oh well, I still have the bigger gunship so it doesn't really matter.

The Tank Droid looks even more awesome. When is it due? You guys say (or some say) that it is due earlier? Are we getting a review early?

People have been getting the new sets early, I don't blame him for asking. I think that's what he meant...

Now I don't know if with this wave Lego will let some go early, or if they have an official release date (like July 26th for CW last year...)

I hope they come put around July. I just cant wait to get them. If they decide to not release them early then that gives me more time to save!

Did the cloud city set incorporate the duel between Darth vader and Luke?

This was a very famous scene for obvious reasons. Maybe this will be part of the new secret set.

Come on guys, lets be relalistic, would Lego make a mini figure scale Jedi Temple? No. Would they make a minifligure scale Geonosian Arena? No. I bet (and hope) it will be a set of the famous dule with Luke and Vader or a Super Star Destroyer. (I hope it's the first one)

It IS probably true that SOME Star Wars sets will come early but I think

the majority(it means most if you don't know ) of the Star Wars sets will come out

in August.

Also I think for the AT-TE Brickmaster set has the two front and back legs too small

which just makes it look weird

I agree that the majority, if not all of them, will come in late July/early August. I can't see what TLG would gain by releasing some a month earlier than the others.

I disagree with you about the AT-TE. I think the middle legs are too big and poorly designed.

That is interesting. There was a pic in the News thread earlier.

But the Tantive set was just a grey box, so no clues what so ever more then the set number.

totally ruin the popularity of the 10195 Dropship with AT-OT

Do you got the Dropship yet Kim?

I always wanted to build one my self.

It is a damn fine ship

But since I never got the UCS RBR, I will welcome this set with open arms and embrace it as a child!!

Thinking of mini-figs though.

Leia, Vader, Stormies, Rebel troopers and some droids is obvious.

Would be so great to really get new mini-figs though.

But it nessesary dont have to be from Ep. IV.

It can be Ep. III or Clone Wars as well.

Then there is another range.

Ep. III can for instance be Bail Organa, Padme, Obi and what else.

Since the UCS version was the traditional, this might be Bails "Blue" one.

City sets aren't licenced so that may be why they are early, but Indiana Jones sets are coming out early too. Confusing why these sets are coming out early. I cannot figure out why some sets would come out earlier than their release date and some won't.

It is graet that the other exclusive set is OT and not CW related but I must admit I am in a "like it/not like it" way with the fact it is going to be the Rebel Blockade Runner . From ship terms I am extremely excited cause I always wanted a RBR but couldn´t get it when it was out . But minifig-wise, I think this isn´t going to be great . Just think about it, the only possible new minifig I could imagine from this set is Capt. Antilles and he isn´t so spectacular at all (A Rebel Trooper with orange shirt ) and that somehow left me undecided . I will buy it for sure but in minifig-terms I don´t think we will get such a big deal .

To be honest I prefer some totally new minifigs instead of some rare minifigs but if they include either a chrome Vader or C-3PO I am not going to complain .

I agree. you could have a few rebel troopers, storm troopers, Darth Vader, Princess Leia, C3PO, R2 D2 and captain Antilles. I would much rather have it from EP III where you could have a few minifigs that havent been released before.

It would be awesome if they included some extra pieces so you could customize it to be the RBR from episode III or episode IV. Then they could include both sets of minifigs. That might even explain why the set was called Rebel Blockade Runners. On the other hand, the plural set name is probably just an error.
