Sorry about the double post, but I found a scan of the chinese booklet that has the box of Tantive! And the box is absolutly great!

Link to catalouge pics

Ok, did you look? Are you pissed? Yeah, I think it's safe to say Lego doesn't have a design for it yet, but we know it will be coming out!

I would hope they have a design for it if it's coming out this year!

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what it'll look like...

That brings up an interesting topic, what do you think the boxes will look like next year?

FAIL! Why would you get our hopes up like that? :hmpf_bad:

Star Wars in red and with another clone trooper design on the right.

Just like the Y-Wing in the link and a few of the sets in the first post of this topic.

Or do you mean 2010?

Hello there. :classic: I don't know if this has been mentioned, but apparently there is a 3-in-1 package being sold in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden that consists of 8017, 7667, and 7668. Here are some pics:

pict1195320x200.jpgpict1200320x200.jpg

Didn't see those pics anywhere here.

Also, I just got my poster yesterday. You know, the one with all the minifigs on it. Here are some interesting facts about it:

  1. The gungan soldier is still green. :hmpf_bad:
  2. It's 23x31 inches.
  3. On the back of the poster, there is a small black & white ad for the visual dictionary. The cover art is different from the one in the first post of this thread. It only features a large, non-damaged Vader fig and small images of the DS II, Anakin's Starfighter (Ep.III), Vader's old TIE Advanced, and a Sandtrooper on a dewback. However, the pic in the corner about the exclusive minifig is the same with the "NOT FINAL" stamp on it, so this can't be the final cover art yet. :sceptic:

Thanks for that information Oky.

If the Blockade Runners have no interiors, I won't get the set. Btw, why is it plural? Does that mean we will get two small ships around the size of the Venator? :oh: Maybe we will get more figures this way! :cry_happy:

Greetings,

JD

The size of a Venator put together or each? :sceptic:

Goodbye...

I would think it was just a typo. I don't see what TLG would gain from releasing two of the same vehicle in one set! :sceptic:

I know 10195 included two large vehicles, but they weren't the same. Maybe TLG will release one large ship or Tantive IV and another Rebel ship.

Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see!

I found a very tiny review of the CW Y-wing here.

and also a picture of a possible fake Mace Windu's starfighter here.

That review doesn't really show very much about the set.

That starfighter is definitely fake. It is shown with an old design of a vulture droid and I doubt TLG will make any more Eta-2 Actis-class Interceptors for a while. They seem to be currently focusing on OT and CW sets. It does look good, though.

Thanks anyway! :classic:

Lucky kid, but where was that? Some convention somewhere. Anyways, that is possibly the most pathetic fake I've ever seen in my entire life. It doesn't have the quality of a TLG picture, nor is it up to date, considering Lego isn't making an III sets right now, and the Vulture droid is the second edition. We're now on the fourth.

By the way, why does KimT say that the Blockade Runner is an unconfirmed rumor, if there was a Lego catalogue recently found (viewable on Brickset,) in which there was a blank square saying "Rebel Blockade Runner, Coming Soon."?

Maybe because he has not seen the updates yet?

I am hoping for Antilles, 3 Rebel Troopers, 2 Astromechs, 2 Protocols, Leia, C3-PO, R2, Darth and 3 Stormtroopers along with an Imperial Officer.

Pretty simple.

Have you had any confirmation on this set from TLG? No? Ok, then it's still unconfirmed, isn't it?

Anyone can make a grey box, write 10198 RBR next to it and post it on the internet.

Haven't you ever learned not to trust everything on the net, even me?

Until we get TLG to admit that there is such a set on it's way, I'll leave it as unconfirmed.

Just consider the amount of prelim looking MOC's out there.

If we were to treat anything as the real deal, then the threads would drown in lies and people seeking 15 minutes/seconds of fame.

I think (and hope ) that the Rebel Blockade Runner (or Red Bull Racer ) is for real and hopefully we'll know more after BrickFair :classic:

Thanks.

I saw those on Friday, but I was in Lund and couldn't get the pesky internetconnection at the hotel to work efficiently.

I'll add this to the first post.

Hopefully I can get my hands on a few of this one and perhaps we could use it for future contests.

I'll see what I can do

Thank you very much for the new pics, Bricks and mutley777! :sweet:

I can't await to see the review of the Endor Bunker, mutley777!

I don't know about you guys, but the Tantive set is like a dream come true for me. I remember seeing that seen for the first time as a kid and that scene has never left my mind. I just can't wait. Also, I can think of some really great play features like an exploding (Yeah, let your kids play with THAT  ) door for the stroomtroopers to come in or an escape pod for R2 and C-3PO. Hmm... What else could they have.......

For interior I could think of a little floor with blasting away door, escape pod, cockpit and some sort of lounge or other room with some seats and a table.

I could well imagine that there will be a tilting handle on the top to let the vehicle "fly" (like in the Venator and the Republic Dropship).

Agreed, episode IV it must be - it's a classic. CW

I doubt the high amount of minifigs.

We'll see no more than 8, which is the same amount as the 10195, isn't it?

I can't wait for this set to become true

I totally agree with you, KimT!

There surely won't be more than eight minifigs. Since TLG already includeded that many new SW minifigs this year in the sets and since the AT-OT set includes only two different minfigs (and it's surely less expensive to include eight minfigs of which there are only two different types in contrast to five totally different minifigs) I even highly doubt that we'll see eight minifigs in the Rebel Blockade Runner. I could well imagine that TLG only includes the five minifigs which are absolutely necessary (Leia, R2-D2. C-3PO, a Rebel Trooper and Captain Antilles) - but no additional one.

Sorry about the double post, but I found a scan of the chinese booklet that has the box of Tantive! And the box is absolutly great!

Ok, did you look? Are you pissed? Yeah, I think it's safe to say Lego doesn't have a design for it yet, but we know it will be coming out!

This catalogue scan shows us that the At-OT set is 40 ? and the RBR 25 ? - which means that it will not be 250 Euros/Dollars but somewhere between 150-200 Euros/Dollars - I'd guess 200 Euros/Dollars.

And that even means that it will surely not be bigger than the UCS version. In contrary - since it will imo at least include 5 minifigs (Leia, R2-D2, C-3PO, a Rebel Trooper and Captain Antilles), some interior and some action elements which the UCS version did not include plus you have not to forget the inflation since the release of the UCS version - it will perhaps even be smaller than the UCS version.

So hopefully we won't get such a flop as the Repblic Cruiser which had no interior and an absolutely to small cockpit in which only one minifig was aible to sit! :sceptic:

I'm really not that worried about the minifig selection. I have all those except c-3p0 and Captain Antilles, so everything else is just gravy.

To those that haven't read the starwars.com interview with the Home One designer (or one of) I thoroughly recommend it, it includes a great pic of the minifigs. And for those too lazy to go back and find the link, here it is again Home One interview

I love the sound of opening rear doors on the A-wing, it reminds me of the old classic space ships.

I haven't seen anything mentioned before but apologies if it has but it looks like the release date of the Star Wars visual dictionary has been delayed. I received an email from Amazon saying it won't arrive (that's in Aus, not when actually available on amazon) until late October now.

Yes, that interview was the source of the pictures (now found on the frontpage), but it was posted many pages back, so no worries. The delay is news though, that's a bummer to hear. It's not too long after, but I hope that this isn't a bad sign that it might keep getting pushed back (I want to see that exclusive fig!).

From FBTB - Detailed pics of the Battle of Endor figs:

Look at those shiny helmets! Do you think they consist of one or two parts? The green part seems somewhat detached from the dark-tan part. :look:

Also, who else thinks that that second rebel trooper's head would be excellent for a non-clone wars Obi Wan? :sweet:
