Not exclusive, it's more likely to be another 10th Anniversary Set. My guess is that sincce Hoth and Endor are OT, then they'll be anniversary sets like Vader's Tie. Same ol'skool box-design. Quote

darkrebellion Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Well, after looking at the episode preview of "Gungan General" I put me to think what we can expect from the rumored 7753 Pirate Tank set and end with the next idea: Maybe the TLC could make this set at the $59.99 price point so they can really squeez the potential of the set. They can include the tank seen in the preview and it could be of the size of the RFT we got this year. Than they can throw a nice speeder bike to complete the set. The minifigs potential is awesome. If the TLC do the things right than we might get the next minifigs in this set: A Pirate, the Pirate Commander, Jar Jar Binks, a Clone Trooper (Maybe with markings) and the little Kowakian Monkey Lizard of the commander in the style of the Rotta minifig of this year. Than we have a very decent minifig count with 5 different minifigs. Obiously this can be better if the TLC throw one additional Pirate but I will be happy if we get the first list . Quote

It's so easy calling people liars and in doing so, you act as if you're looking for a verbal fight. Furthermore your post makes no sense. Please spend a little more time putting your sentences together and how about using small and big letters? As for the exclusive mistake, I've already fixed that with my comment on the Echo Base being an Anniversary set. Stand down and stay on target. Quote

Unless the red clones are the preliminary design and the blue one we're seeing right now is the finished product. A lot of Clone Wars licensed toys are using the Blue clone design and I think they're told so by George Lucas' Company. Changing the entire design of so many different toys is very expensive. But you could be right...the red clone design is awesome. Quote

The other CW toys have the same design and unless "The Man" says so, then the box-design is the same throughout all the toys available: But perhaps the design is meant to change in 2009... I doubt it though, considering that these are the same Clone Wars colors everywhere, unless Lucas got tired of those colors and suddenly decided to make the biggest toy change in box history. It could just be blurry and and annoying prelimness... @theguywhodoesn'tbelieveThePenguin: He's been a member for a loooong time, and I don't think there's any reason to lie, I mean... where would that get us? Plus, there are other people saying this, and I can see these happening. Though I can't see the same number of figs as a $10 set as a $130 set! *cough VENATOR cough ASSASSIN DROIDS BP cough* If lego gives us 5 measly figs, Palpy better look good, those Senate Commandos better be wicked awesome, and those two clones better have optional imperial officer outfits like the real ones! Anyway I know a newbie doesn't hold much weight, but what the Penguin said is correct, the new Clone Wars Packaging for 2009 will be red, this will be for the Star Wars Hasbro toys also. I work in the UK toy retail industry and have seen the images for a few of the 2009 lego and star wars toys. I have a few images I will post, but I will have to wait nearer to Toy Fair at the end of the month as I could get into real trouble with my Reps. Talk soon. Quote
