RileyC Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 You guys will also be seeing a review of the Separatist's Shuttle soon. Someone has a review of it in the Reviewer's Academy. I read that review and it looks quite boring. The opening doors looks quite interesting and so do the minifigs. I cant wait to get that set! Quote
Millacol88 Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 Too bad you non-RA people will just have to wait. The review is quite good, and thoroughly outlines the set and it's contents. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 23, 2009 Posted May 23, 2009 (edited) Then the review will be mostly welcome. ) Do not despair, Citizen!^^ My reviews of The Battle of Endor, Alliance Tank Droid and Echo base are coming up in the next few days. Sorry that I didn t graduate the Acadamy earlier, but I am a lazy person when it is about photos.^^ Edited May 23, 2009 by Navy Trooper Fenson Quote

Your other reviews are really good. Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I found this on a German Lego site (called Imperiumedsteine or something I can't remember or recall), I uploaded it to brickshelf and deeplinked it here. Quote
YG-49 Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 NICE!!! Goodbye... *The single word user* Hail Trashcat!!!! Quote
RileyC Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 yea their jet packs are really cool and extremely detailed. I just hope they make a new jango or boba with it Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Very good find of that pic! So sad this was not how the old once was made from beginning. As said before, hope we will get new Fetts! -Ras- Quote

As said before, hope we will get new Fetts! -Ras- I totally agree with you both, Roncanator and Ras - a new Boba Fett minifigure with the new jetpack piece would be great! And since next year is the celebration of ESB I bet that we'll see a new version of the Slave 1 with Boba Fett and the new jetpack piece! Klaus-Dieter Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 The jetpacks are really good but it seems to me that they are extremely bland or bleak. Quote
KimT Posted May 25, 2009 Author Posted May 25, 2009 The jetpacks are really good but it seems to me that they are extremely bland or bleak. Bland? (my translator says boring) Bleak? (my translator says gloomy) Could be that Google translator is a little off... Otherwise you need to get back to school. Quote

(my translator says gloomy) Could be that Google translator is a little off... Otherwise you need to get back to school. I agree that the jetpacks are bland in the fact that they are all plain white. Some blue detailing, for example, would be much better. They are very detailed in their shape, but the colour could be improved. I don't think it was ever TLG's intention to just release the winner of the set competition. Home One won, so we are seeing that as a complete set. Palpatine's office was included in the Venator, and it was said we'd see an Empire Strikes Back anniversary set which would probably 'Slave I with Cloud City Landing Platform'. There is then a chance to see a new Boba Fett. Quote
Millacol88 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Good logic ADH, except are you sure thats what they meant by "Palpatines Office?" I thought in the description it said it would be tthe scene when he was arrested by Mace Windu, kit Fisto, Sassae Tin (spelled wrong) and Agen Kolar? Quote

I thought in the description it said it would be tthe scene when he was arrested by Mace Windu, kit Fisto, Sassae Tin (spelled wrong) and Agen Kolar? It was supposed to be 'Palpatine's Arrest', but I doubt they would have included much more than what's in the office in the Venator. I'm sure we had a 'reliable-guess' of what the figs were at some point: Palpatine, Windu, Fisto, Anakin and a Senate Guard. There was no sign of any new Jedi figs. When that set didn't win probably thought to just put the essence of the set into an existing set. I could be completely wrong, but that's my guess. Edited May 25, 2009 by ADHO15 Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 A good "guess" I would say ADHO. To give the audience a bit of the Palpy arrest/office anyway. -Ras- Quote

It makes sense for TLG to use all designs they think, rather than just cast them aside because one won. I don't see why LEGO would create such an accurate Z-6 for jet troopers if they weren't going to release a new Fett. They could easily have gotten away with creating a cheaper, plain jetpack that's just a couple of air tanks or something if they weren't. Quote

Don´t know about that really. I would rather get a set in the size of the new Echo Base. With both Jango and Boba. Can have both one Jango without his armour and with it. Printed legs and arms on the later one. Boba as a younling and with his armour printed as well. I would totally but a few of that. -Ras- Quote

I don't think there's all that much to do with a Kamino set. You could make Jango's apartment, but I doubt it would sell all that well. Maybe putting a Kaminoan or two in would help it. This seems to be straying more towards the 'Future Star Wars sets' topic so I'll stop talking about that now. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 But another Slave?Don´t know about that really. The Endor bunker gives me the hope for another playset. Maybe a 7754-style Executor bridge or Cloud City playset. Maybe even a Geonosis arena. Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 (edited) I think people are bang on - the Palptine arrest set has just been rolled into the Venator design ...an office for the chancellor is not something i'd have come up with for this set....an...odd choice Edited May 26, 2009 by TheBrickHitHouse Quote

alexrider7 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 Hey guys, I don't know if many saw my past post about the new untold September set, (Crossing my fingers for Boba Fett's Slave I UCS!) and I also don't know if this is jumping ahead. But here we go! I was reading my Star Wars Insider (#109 for people looking to buy. They sell in many comic book stores. *Hint *Hint the one with Darth Maul (Or Qui-Gon for special edition) on the cover.) in further depth because it had an article on the new Lego 10th Anniversary sets. It came out last month, but I have not had much time because of my hectic schedule. This is what is said about further on in 2010. "And what about the future? The LEGO Star Wars team wasn't giving any clues but did concede they were aware that 2010 is the 3oth anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back. So who knows? Maybe there's another tauntaun coming our way!" That was copied straight out of page 81 of the magazine. And by the way, it said that the Home One Mon Calamari Star Crusier was selling for $109.99 in the U.S. It will be released in August. And back to the untold September set, I will put another quote from the magazine to desipher. (Sorry if it is against the rules to post the same things twice, I think not many people heard this, please forgive me if I have done something wrong.) "The fifth and final set is still clouded in mystery. LEGO Ambassadors were contacted in January 2008 with a request for fan imput into a second fans' choice. The LEGO company plans to reveal the identity of this new set-which undoubtedly will be as exciting and iconic as the rest of the line-in August, 2009 prior to its retail release in September." Good day to all of you and thank you for reading! alexrider7 Quote
