Much collectors that I know want to have more real UCS sets. Big models with much detailing, instead of just big minifig-sets like the LAAT/C and AT-OT or statues like Grievous.

For the anniversary of TESB they maybe could make a real UCS AT-AT with detailing and maybe one meter big. That would be the first UCS set that I would buy.

Sorry to act like a mod, but I'm getting a bit tired of all these off-topic conversations. :classic:

Shouldn't Ras be telling us to "Stay on Target!? :look: (Don't kill me KimT )

I don't actually care if the sets are CW or OT, I just buy the ones with good minifigures, good design, and good features.

You were a kiwi?

And Pssst... Don't give away next years sets

Kidding, kidding... Of corse. I mean, how would i know wats coming out next year :hmpf_bad: ( :sadnew::blush: )

Still am a Kiwi.

But do we all want huge ships like those that are really expensive and take up lots of space? I know I don't. I prefer what TLG has done by picking out the main play features of Home One and putting them in a smaller cheaper playset.

As for your petty squabbles about OT vs PT, they belong here.

About the availability of sets on Shop@Home, they belong here, but I've already posted it's current status.

No need to be sorry, just leave modding to the mods.

And Legoman and i were discussing the new OT sets for this year, so it was On Target.

I agree with you completely. I've been trying to give up OT and focus on PT, but sets like The Battle of Endor are just too good to miss. I drew a line at the Death Star, though, as much as I'd like it.

Sometimes this type of thing needs to be brought to their attention by people like me.

Okay, fine, but "Still am a Kiwi." is certainly not on-topic.

I think that belongs in the 'Future Star Wars Sets' topic.

Stay on target is Kims line But I got special permission to say it.

And now it is enough, so I will say it:

Stay on target my padawans

What? :wink::laugh:

My best guess is the RBR will be revealed next. After that the "clouded" set.

I'm glad a lot of OT sets came out and I definitly do not mind CW sets. They're all star wars and that shows and that's most important.

That would be nice, but to me it seems like it is a given that a manned vehicle comes with at least one minifig, like the AT-AT pilot, which would be enough. It would be nicer (and appeal to a few more people, like me) if it came with a small crew, fit to perfect scale.

Yes, Master.

You think? I thought a 'possibly-big' like that would be released at about the same time the Republic Dropship and AT-OT was released this year, in which case we're likely to see the January 2010 sets first.

I was just at the Lego Store at Disney World, and still no new sets. They had the new Castle, Power Miner, Agent, and I believe City sets, but no new Star Wars.

Yes, thank you. :hmpf: If you looked in the right thread for info like this, we wouldn't have to keep seeing it here. I even wrote a couple of posts ago that I had written this there.

I think this comment belongs there too. :sceptic:

Sorry about that. I knew there was a thread for that type of info but I though it must have been this one because of the post before mine. I'm cluttering again so i'll edit this into my original post and delete it later

No picture or price and it's 'Not Available' but:

I think it will be released soon, about the same time the Death Star was released last year.

That could also mean it might be available in September.

I sence we will see the RBR within this month at Brickworld. *waving my hand*

About the ´Clouded set´... no idea.

My thoughts were the same. :yoda:

I agree. Hopefully we'll get good pics of the Tantive IV set soon. :sweet:

I was talking about the possible Cloud City set, not the Rebel Blockade Runner set. I realise my comment was unclear. There is a good chance the Rebel Blockade Runner set will be released in September, but the 'clouded' set, as it's now known, will certainly be released next year as that's the ESB anniversary, not this year.

Have we gotten confirmation that these sets will be the Tantive IV and Cloud City, or is it just fairly certain speculation?

The Tantive IV set is more certain than the Cloud City set. We have no pictures yet so it isn't 100% definite, but I feel fairly confident we'll see one.

The Cloud City set is an educated guess based on a small teaser and the ESB anniversary next year.

I have a gut feeling about the Tantive IV.

Not sure about the Cloud City set, sounds more like wishful thinking to me, but I have been wrong once or twice in the past decade.

Even if we don't see a cloud city set, I'm fairly certain we will get a couple Hoth sets regardless. Battle packs look like a distinct possibility, at least to me. :sweet: However, we may all be completely off-base about this whole thing. We didn't see any special sets on the 30th anniversary of A New Hope, did we? :sceptic:

This made my evening.

So is there something said there will be a special set for 2010 for the 30 anivercery of ESB?

I must totally missed this somewhere.

Yeah, you actully did. Lego acknowleged that 2010 was the 30th anniversery of ESB, but nothing is confirmed. And as for this 'clouded in mystery' stuff, MAYBE we'll see it next year during the ESB stuff. But right now, I'm thinking it's the Tantive IV, because Lego has already made a Cloud City set in the past couple of years. (2006?) So this is all speculation. (Hate to burst your bubble!) So all we know is that there is a set coming out in September, and we will know what it will be in August.

Haha well I'll definitely be waiting for a Tantive IV, I hope it has somewhat of an interior, but I do hope it's not a complete play set like the home one.

Oh I see the Cloud City set idea entered everyone's mind about the set "clouded in mystery" I got it. Well I don't know, the thing with TLC is they often surprise us, another cloud city set could be cool, since I missed the last one, just hope it's a bit more...advanced.
