If we know one thing, comic cons recently has just been a combo pack. So whatever it is it won't be huge. If it is an entirely new set, I highly doubt it will be something large like Padme's star cruiser or something commonly seen in episode three. Could it be in episode 3 with Phase II Clone troopers, yes probably. If it's not a combo pack, I can imagine it will be something small with Phase II clones, perhaps another walker or small speeder. It would be awesome if it was something magnificent, but I doubt it.

Has anyone happen to know whats inside the First set?

Nope, that's what we're speculating right now. I think it is a mashup of two existing sets.

I hear rumor that this year shall bring a Tie-Fighter set that includes StarKiller and Gen.Kota from The Force Unleashed.

Has anybody heard this aswell?

I do find that an odd one, but i suppose Master Rahm Kota did hijack Nar Shaddaa the imperial tie fighter construction facility, and his militia did use tie fighters.

I didn.t see why Starkiller though, would be better if they had Master Kota during the clone wars, or even TFU with his militia, or even proxy or Bail, guess we wouldn't get 2 new moulds, i would still get it though.

Wonder if it true, will it be Kota from before Starkiller fought him, or after when he was blinded by Starkiller.

I hope we see some more TFU, some of them Wookies with the blades, and the Rancors and Bull Rancor, maybe even a new Maul.

Someone needs to make and English star wars spell check for firefox.

I am guessing it would include Starkiller because not only did he fight Kota, but he is the main character in the game, which means he would sell. I am guessing that it would be Kota before he was blinded.

I would be very surprised if this rumor were true. Not only because so far only one person has heard it, but it seems odd that they would release another TFU set after only releasing one a year earlier. I would have thought they would have capitalized on the success of the game while it was still prominent.

Well, actually, that makes a lot of sense to me. The last Star Wars ComiCon exclusive also had bonus minifigs.

So we'd be getting Darth Vader's TIE fighter, a $30 set in replace of the last two, a $10 and $20 set, and we'd be getting a bonus package that comes with Kota (a very easy Minifig to make,) Starkiller, and maybe a couple of Stormies.

Of course, I doubt this rumor. We haven't seen any more than one TFU set, and, not to mention, the Kota minifig would be a huge surprise seeing as TLG never released any completely exclusive minifigs in the last ComiCon set.

Yeah well who knows, they did the tie crawler and thats not in anything i can think of, im sure they would sell if they made them a decent price, and then dont forget next year is the new live action series so maybe they testing the waters.

Who knows with lego, their thinking is too odd, a millionth AT-ST an another MF, so go figure.

You bring up a good point. The TIE Crawler has less storyline significance than Ahsoka! Of course all those treads do come in handy.

We can always get weird sets, but now I guess that disproves the rumor of the Phase II helmet. Looking back, we've never gotten a new piece out of an exclusive set. The only reason it was put there was a place holder.

I mean, a few months ago I was bored and looked in the Bionicle forum, where a place holder image of one of their books was a creature from 2007! So the helmet is only a place holder to.

Yeah i know, still like i said it might be good, but its a rumour so it might not even come true, maybe its being kept quite and then will be a thing to mark the one year anniversary of TFU.

Maybe it wont be tie fighters, maybe they know something about the clone wars season 2 that we dont, i have only seen a small 2min leaked clip of the next season, so maybe Kota will be in a lego set and the next season.

Or maybe he is going to be in Republic Heroes.

Or maybe its like Jeff Goldblum.

Is there really a rumour of another force unleashed set? It seems long past that era. :sceptic: I thought the rogue shadow was great, but it doesn't seem likely they would make another set based off the game. First they make it long before the game was released, and now long after.

It would be great if the tie fighter came with starkiller, kota, 2 stormies and one of kota's soldiers. that would be cool.

Thing i don't get is why people saying about age, its all old stuff now apart from CW.

And then come on, they make stuff up anyway, i have seen all movies, and all episodes of the new CW, none of them ever had a 2 man walker, and the imperial dropship, and Vader's tie fighter, the speeder in the assassin droids BP.

Lets not forget, RBR that's supposed to be real but where the proof.

Try Episode IV, the FIRST MOVIE?

That is an old rumor that was spread in mid-2008 about pictures from a retailer's catalog that showed the 2009 Winter line-up. It turns out that the picture was actually of Darth Vader's Tie Fighter.

It's a shame that there arn't more Force Unleashed sets. It had so much more marketing potential than Lego realized.

Good point. They just added the endor shield bunker andf that movie was a long time ago, not just a few months.

Vader's tie was in the movies. I think you mean the droid tie fighter in the tie collection set.

Rebel Blockade runner? This is I gotta see! I hope we get more info soon!

They have sets like the Endor Bunker for the OT fans. No offense to the PT/CW fans, but the OT is way better. Just because the OT didn't come out in the 21st Century doesn't mean that it was bad or shouldn't be used anymore.

I think it's be fine if Lego keeps on going with the half OT half CW line. They have stuff for the young people (and me), and then they have the stuff for everyone else.

I think there's no reason to challenge any of the OT sets. If you think CW is more popular and worthwhile than OT...you're waaaay off. Being the loser that I am I was at TRU and I saw to gets laughing at Darth Vader's TIE saying it was waaay out and CW was the way to go. I was ready to bop em' on the head!

So the point is, studies and polls prove OT is more popular than CW, which is why Lego is making those sets, while CW is popular among kids, their main audience.

I don't even know why I like CW! I guess I just like the pieces.

I think as sets, the CW is great. As a show it isn't that great.

I'm just dying for when I get my AT-OT and Dropship! It's now ordered.

Of course, when the RBR/Tantive IV comes out, it's time to start saving again!

So back on topic, I'm predicting that TLG will continue making OT and CW sets for at least Winter 2009-2010, and then if that show about Boba Fett ever comes into existence maybe they'll switch from CW to that. Probably not though.

There still always is room for a couple of Expanded Universe sets like we've been getting, and maybe once in a while a special from PT.

Next year I'll definitely be looking forward to newer remakes of old OT sets though! (And please, please a Hoth Wampa Cave Battle! Frome Episode V!)

Aww, I had my hopes up, there is crack in my Starkiller Minifigure's Torso, not really big but the arm on that side is loose.

Hopefully his torso doesnt break because of that, like what happened with my Dark Stormtrooper Pilot from the Stormtroop' Battle Pack.

We can only really hope.

Well I can only hope.Because I need a replacement SK Figure.

Off the topic:I was looking through my new Lego Mag' and I saw that Death Star set and I noticed the Assassin Droid included looks completly diffrent then It's counterparts in the Assassin Battle Pack.

Also the protocol droid makes no sense.Unless Vader built more droids based on C-3POS design, the Protocol droid should look diffrent.

Oh and anyone who asks why Emperor Palpatine is there, this death star set is for both Ep.IV and V
