YG-49 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) We can only really hope.Well I can only hope.Because I need a replacement SK Figure. Off the topic:I was looking through my new Lego Mag' and I saw that Death Star set and I noticed the Assassin Droid included looks completly diffrent then It's counterparts in the Assassin Battle Pack. Also the protocol droid makes no sense.Unless Vader built more droids based on C-3POS design, the Protocol droid should look diffrent. Oh and anyone who asks why Emperor Palpatine is there, this death star set is for both Ep.IV and V The Assassin droid is white, we know. The Protocol is based off 4-LOM, a protocol bounty hunter. True, the head should be different, but maybe TLG didn't want to make a new mold. 4-LOM: Edited July 2, 2009 by YG-49 Quote
Mixwizzard The Terrible Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Oh I see. Plus the head looks like it would be to complex for TLG to mold. Quote
Penitent Tangent Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 It's a shame that there arn't more Force Unleashed sets. It had so much more marketing potential than Lego realized. I'm not sure it had "loads" of potiential, but it might have been fun to see at least another couple sets. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 The Assassin droid is the same figure as the ones from the BP, only difference is the white color instead of silver or black. Don´t ask me why it is white. The black 3PO is most likely not supposed to be a character from episode 5, when the set only covers 4 an 6. I guess the droid should be an excuse for RA-7, a droid walking next to Han, Luke and Chewie in episode 4. And to make it not completely off-topic: Chrome Stormtrooper has been pushed back to 31. July. I wouldn´t be surprised if he is available, right after the end for the gold minifigure offer... Quote

And if this is based off 4 and 6 why did they include an Assassin Droid/IG-88? MUST.... FIND...... RUMOR...... SO...... KIMT....... CAN...... MAKE... LEGO Star Wars 2010 Sets and Rumors...... The black droid could be either Ra-7 or the other one, but truly both are so unimportant that it would be a stupid idea to make a new head mold if you ask me. It stinks that the Chrome Trooper was pushed back though. I think it's because to many people ordered it! Quote
ILikePi Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Nice find, Darth Lion! It looks very interesting, with all of those LEGO sets and descriptions of the real thing. I'll try to get this book (along with the LEGO Book). Quote
KimT Posted July 2, 2009 Author Posted July 2, 2009 This has been added to the first post: (Picture is link to high resolution version) Great find and thanks for sharing. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Wow! The Star Wars Dictionary looks excellent. I'm very glad I decided to pre-order it. Thanks for the picture! Quote
Mixwizzard The Terrible Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I found something very suspicious that could be hinting on more TFU sets, I looked through my newest Lego club mag and it shows a Battle-Damaged-Darth Vader keychain (Like the one from the rogue shadow) This might mean more TFU sets.Or they're just trying to sell all the extras in Keychain form. Skipper 24 Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Thanks for the book link. The layout look simple and easy to navigate, similar to other visual dictionaries . Quote

pedro Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Cheers Darth Lion! I'm really looking forward to this book. DK books have superb photography and I'm sure it'll be an exciting trip through nostalgia flipping through the pages. There's the excellent special edition Luke minifig too... win, win! Quote
wednesdayware Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 I know one little Lego Maniac that will be very excited about this. Wait, 2 actually. Quote
Faramir Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Anyone else read that page and see that it states that Obi-Wan fights Luke Skywalker? Come on, Lego, you can do better than that... Quote
pedro Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Anyone else read that page and see that it states that Obi-Wan fights Luke Skywalker? Come on, Lego, you can do better than that... No it's right enough. It says under exile he meets Luke Skywalker and fights a duel against his former padawan, now named Darth Vader - referring back to Anakin. Quote
darkrebellion Posted July 2, 2009 Posted July 2, 2009 Simply amazing . Really, I wasn´t expecting such good quality even if I know how DK Books commnoly are. I really like how they manage to put a comphresive description of all the sets and also great quality images. Also that awesome Luke minifig is a plus . Quote
RileyC Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 wow the book looks awesomely laid out! I like how they put the little brick facts in the corner. I like to have useless information Quote
