Rufus Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Here is a picture of RBR 10198!!!http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3989021 Hurrah! Now I can see what all the fuss is about. It looks like they've gone for the same design ethic as the Republic Cruiser (which in my opinion is one of the best LSW models ever, at least System scale), so should have a degree of playability. If it's anything like the UCS version, building eleven identical engines will be an endurance test... I hope the front pieces aren't trans cones with stickers, or my non-application policy goes out the window. Quote
RoflWafls Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 (edited) Hey! I was just looking for Home One on Toys R Us.com, and I found out that the price is really 100 USD, not 110 USD! Yay! We save 10 dollars! :) Also, read this description: "Admiral Ackbar's flagship, Home One, leads the Rebel attack on the second Death Star. Voted for by LEGO fans to celebrate 10 years of LEGO Star Wars, this set features a command centre, a repair hanger with A-wing and six minifigures, including Admiral Ackbar, Lando Calrissian and Luke Skywalker." What? Edited July 19, 2009 by RoflWafls Quote
Mraz Skintas Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 That's either a typo, or you get a special Luke if you order from the site. A typo most likely though. Quote
DarthSion Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Yeah i say its a typo, i noticed the star wars are now in red letters on S@H instead of blue. Quote

The engines are way smaller but look good so far. (=minor endurance) You are right about the cruiser, think about it if they have the same landing gear! Quote
Oky Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Another keychain has surfaced at Brickset: R7-A7 I hope they release one with the new-style R2 soon! Quote

-JD- Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I'll get the R7-A7 keychain, and just cut off the chain and sand off the stud, so it doesn't look messy. Quote

-JD- Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Yes I know about BL! It would be easier to get it from the LEGO shop, thats all. Quote
CaptainRex110 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 (edited) I've known about that key chan for a while. It's even in my Brickshelf. Btw, I already do own it, and I did cut the key chain off. Edited July 20, 2009 by CaptainRex110 Quote
RileyC Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 thats a nice keychain. Its good that I got ashoka's starfighter so I can have R7-A7 in all its beauty. It would look really good with a new R2 D2 keychain Quote

Is any part of it glued? And is the head of yours face the right way? Edited July 20, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote

We might be getting a new R2 if we get this thing, but these keychains are not that big of a deal. Just wait, and we may have an Astromech Magnet set! That would make life a whole lot easier! CaptainRex110 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Lucky. Is any part of it glued? And is the head of yours face the right way? The head is on the right way, however, when I bought it, some of the others weren't. Only the haed is glued on, the legs aren't. The screw is actually quite easy to pull out. Quote
CaptainRex110 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You guys seen this. It's in color. 202 pieces. Quote
cole Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Thanks CaptainRex110 I wonder what it will be, it looks like it will have p2 clones though, which will be good. Quote
ILikePi Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Hopefully there's nothing exclusive so we won't complain. Thanks for the pic, though. The box looks really good, even though there aren't that many colors. I'm guessing that the set will cost $20? Quote
RileyC Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 The pictures look good captainrex110! Now I can't wait to see inside the box. 202 pieces sounds like a large set for these comic con exclusives. Also Darth Legolas I couldn't see any typos in my post. Quote

Apparently, there will be raffles held each day at 11:00 for you to win 1 of 100 (only 100 are being sold each day). Quote

Apparently, there will be raffles held each day at 11:00 for you to win 1 of 100 (only 100 are being sold each day). I would say in the range of $35-40. The new Hoth set has 155 pieces and is $25. That's around $5 per 30 pieces. I am really hoping that it is going to include Phase 2 Clones. I am guessing that it wills simply because it seems dumb for Lego to include a picture of one on the box if it doesn't have any. Quote

One of the reasons for me to get a R7 A7 is to be able to give my V-Wing droid head a body. Can you tell us where you got it? You guys seen this. It's in color. 202 pieces. How do you know we have? Thanks a lot though. Hm... 202 pieces? That's even less than the Snail Tank. Can't be all that good IMO. Then again, I've been wrong before. And yes, I'm guessing it will be about the same price as the Indy on last year. Edited July 20, 2009 by Oky Wan Kenobi Quote

Sorry, meant to have a question mark after that. I got it at Legoland CA. They had tons of 'em. I hope that the SDCC Brickmaster set has some great minifigs or has something amazing in it, because I want it to be good, but earl signs aren't saying so... Quote
Oky Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Honestly, I'd be glad if the set sucks. I'd be crushed if it's something awesome but totally overpriced. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 It's definitely Clone Wars. There are definitely not going to be Phase II clones. It may even be the Snail Tank with an added bonus! @Roncanator: Usually when people say that, they edit their post. You still have Ahsoka spelled wrong... Quote
