Commander_Rob Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 The clones in the tank droid seem to have the regular air tank jet packs with fins protruding from the rear of the tube, although I may be wrong. I am not entirely sure what kind of jetpack you mean but to me it looks like Boba`s/Jango`s jetpack without helmet. Quote
ADHO15 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Though I am not sure that UCS sets will include minifigs. Only the DS and Cloud City from the 10000's sets have had minifigs. And the UCS Millenium Falcon like he said. I am not entirely sure what kind of jetpack you mean but to me it looks like Boba`s/Jango`s jetpack without helmet. Again, I'm pretty sure it's this. Quote
KimT Posted January 18, 2009 Author Posted January 18, 2009 And the UCS Millenium Falcon like he said. Yes, yes, which is why I didn't mention it. Does it matter? Is it even important to the discussion? kværulant Quote
legopiotre Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I don't think Home One will be a UCS because it is supposed to be a Toys'r'us exclusive in a price range of 100 € from what was descripted in the poll last year. Moreover we should only have parts of it : the meeting room and a hangar with a A-wing. We already have a fair amount of set this year so wy wallet doesn't want a UCS. Quote

And besides UCS-Set's are one week before they arrive in the S@H public! Greetings Bricks Quote
legofreak nl Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 [i think the mellennium falcon will by a mix of the episode 4,5 and 6 versions, with a detchacebele sensor aray on the roof. including: luke , han solo, chewie, R2-D2 , c-3po, leia, lando , ben kenobi, and nien numb. and the home one wil included mon montha, ackbar , rebel marines and some rebel pilots. and maby some starfighters. CopMike Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Home One might be UCS with minifigs , we've seen it before. The Home One will surely include Ackbar, it would be cruel if we didn't see him in this set .I agree with legopiotre, I don´t belive in an UCS set. As said the price was $100 tops, and the voting choice was:Choice 3: Mon Calamari Cruiser Set (Cruiser control room and hanger with A-wing).The winner will be announced in Feb 2009 and the set will be released in Sept 2009. The Crazy One Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 And the UCS Millenium Falcon like he said.Again, I'm pretty sure it's this. No, i don't think Lego would use such a basic jet pack for such complex sets, i'm sure its Jangos without the helmet. Quote

The other sets so far have been pretty starved for minifigs, if it comes with that many it'll instantly be one of my favourite sets ever, but I think the rumours of it simply having Lando, Nien Nunb and Chewie are far more like, especially as Han already comes with two other sets. I'd love a C-3P0 though, I have hundreds of little R2's but no C-3P0, he doesn't come with anything these days. (couldn't tell if he's in the Endor set, but I don't think so) Edited January 18, 2009 by Penitent Tangent Quote
Captain REX Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Ok now this is getting really annoying with 10,000 people posting the same thing. Seriously is it so hard to look a couple of pages back or even look at what other people are commenting about. If you can't be bothered to do any of those you are really lazy Quote

What do you mean by voting? There was a vote up on TRU´s website, ended many months ago!Choices were: Choice 1: The Arrest of Palpatine. Choice 2: Slave I and Cloud City Landing Platform. Choice 3: Mon Calamari Cruiser Set (Cruiser control room and hanger with A-wing). CopMike Quote

ADHO15 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Ooohh, I remember now Thanks for the reminder I think I voted for Slave 1 I think Slave I was definitely knocked out and it was between the others. From recent rumours, it sounds as though Home One has won but we can't be sure until the announcement in February. I wanted Palpatine's Arrest but seeing the figs in the Venator, I don't think they'll make it. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 (edited) Alright, before I comment on the 2009 sets, KimT or Copmike or whichever mod is doing it, stop changing my signature!! Though I must say, what you replace it with is quite funny. Now, on to the real discussion: I think the Endor bunker will have quite a large interior, seeing as it has a huge perimeter, and of course it's tall enough for minifigs to stand in. It might have a couple of random control panels, and stickers to show holograms and such. On the subject of the Snail Tank, I can see how a lot of people hate it, because the actual thing is supposed to have it's "eyes" hanging from poles that come from behind the discs, but this one has short stubby cylinders up close. That's the way the Clone Wars does it. I hope in the new Snail Tank, they still have the old feature where you can push back the discs and there's a control panel for a B1, even though it's unnecessary and non-canon, it's still cool. DarthSion Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I wonder what percentage of rumoured sets end up being real. Quote
Darth Legolas Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I wonder what percentage of rumoured sets end up being real. I have no idea about that, but usually the ones with set numbers, come out. But I'm pretty sure we'll be getting a Home One, even though I never bothered with the poll, Lego did make an official announcement. But brace yourselves, it's not going to be that great, possibly just a random midscale with Ackbar... unless it's UCS. That'd be brilliant! Quote
DarthSion Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I was just curious, i didn't think many of them would be real, i have seen allot of believable photos and blueprints for a psp phone, so i would image allot of the rumoured ones are fake. Is there actually any difference between Home One and a normal Mon Calamari ship?. Quote
Natman8000 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Is there actually any difference between Home One and a normal Mon Calamari ship?. Yes, it is larger and looks slightly different. Quote

I think TLG may have a hard time recreating this unusual shape well in LEGO. Quote

ANyways, I don't see how lego's going to pull it off, since the ship looks like a random gooey glob with a sort-of-shape. Quote
Natman8000 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 I doubt LEGO will give us the entire home one. Probably what we have speculated, a hanger and control room. Quote
