General Magma Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) I've established that the Jet Troopers in the Tank Droid don't have the same packs as the firefighters do. I took apart one of my city firefighters and put it around the neck of a Clone Trooper and his helmet didn't fit. And at closer look, I think this means a new piece. So I repeat, they are not airtanks. Not these: -PICTURE OF THE AIRTANK PIECE- It's preliminary, but you may possibly be right. I am sure TLC wouldn't throw in airtanks, that's like taking off a minifigs' legs and saying that it is "perfect"...airtanks would be horrible as a jetpack! I am hoping for a new mold. By the way, the Home-One, if it will be really big, might be overpriced.. It will not be complete without an Ackbar, too. Edited January 20, 2009 by General Magma Quote
DarthSion Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I would think Home One would be the same size as an ISD, and same price. Quote

Great! Thanks! Now I can tell those are definitely light bley Agents guns on the Venator! And look at the lovely NXT 2.0! Quote
Knightsword Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) Looks like the Venator is 60 or so studs in length and no Open Circle Fleet emblems or even the modified tiles they were on. Edited January 20, 2009 by Knightsword Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 The shuttle has 5 mini figs - yey Quote

Knightsword Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) DS Trooper, I think. And its old air tanks for the rocket pack or new mold that resembles them, the space police set has a pair of them too. Edited January 20, 2009 by Knightsword Quote

But I think, too, that , Legomils pictures are newer, because of the Republik sign on the ship. I found on brickshelf a picture with a Senate Guard, which was taken in the Legoland! Greetings Bricks Quote

Greetings Bricks Sorry to burst your bubble, those are almost ALL customs. Good ones though. I recognize some as Kaminoan's.... I still think Lego'd be smart enough to put the big and obvious Open Circle Fleet insignia across the Venator. For all we know, without that symbol it might as well be CIS. Skipper 24 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I thought the half circle whatever you call it meant the fleet was under command for Kenobi and Skywalker? Is the DS trooper the man poking his head out of the door behinf Solo and Leia in the Bunker because he look like a Rebel to me. Perhaps he drives the AT-ST before Chewie busts in? Quote

Perhaps he drives the AT-ST before Chewie busts in? Open Circle Fleet, and yes, it does, but for some messed up reason there isn't a single Venator without one, unless you count the Imperial Venators from the very end of episode III. And I see the DS trooper in the Bunker, and on the row of minifigs on the top in this picture. Quote
Motti Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) This isn't speculation, I'm staring at the picture right now! But either way, there will be four guns on each side, just like there are on the actual ship, and each turret has two gun launcher thingies. It also look like there's a lot of room in the ship, along with a compartment for an escape pod! Definitely lot launchers for the turrets, but plenty of missiles in the pic, not sure where they fire from. Rather a relief, though, as it is more accurate. It's preliminary, but you may possibly be right. I am hoping for a new mold.By the way, the Home-One, if it will be really big, might be overpriced.. It will not be complete without an Ackbar, too. If I remember correctly, the Home One is actually cheaper than the Venator, which means it might be much smaller than the Venator, as I think the piececount for the Mon Cal would be higher, since it uses more bricks rather than plates, judging by the shape in real life and mocs. I thought the half circle whatever you call it meant the fleet was under command for Kenobi and Skywalker? Is the DS trooper the man poking his head out of the door behinf Solo and Leia in the Bunker because he look like a Rebel to me. Perhaps he drives the AT-ST before Chewie busts in? Yep, they are under the command of both Kenobi and Skywalker, though there were also prominent members such as Sassee Tiin in it. each arm represents the other and how they work as a unified force. And the five stripes near the end means it is part of the Fifth Fleet of the Open Circle Armada, but I guess you could remove some so it could be Third Fleet, for example, as was done with the latest version of X-wing (Red 3 and Five) He is the DS trooper, the same as the one in the Death Star set. Darth Legolas, you actually can see some Venators in the beginning scene of Ep.III which don't have the logo.(Most likely a mistake) Originally, it was supposed to be a generic Republic symbol, as evident by the logo on At-APs and in the Sep. bunker, but later rectonned that it was specific to a fleet so that there would be continuity. Colonel Bulstrode Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 If you look closely you can see that the new Hoth Rebel Troopers have a slight difference in their helmets. The commander Hoth guy with the longer gun also has a little white strap printed to his face and the other guy doesn't? Colonel Bulstrode Quote
Skipper 24 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 To me it looks like they have new goggles which are like a cross between a visor and a goggles piece from the old helmet. (off topic 900th post!) Quote

CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 (edited) I thought all the walkers, transports and ships that are kept inside Venators (that were in the Open Circle Armada) had the emblem as well. Edited January 20, 2009 by CloneCommanderDelta7 Quote
darkrebellion Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Well this new pics reveal me some new things I can´t note by the first blurry pics: - First you can see that the new Sep. Shuttle now has a somewhat confirmed minifig count. I can see Nute Gunary, Onaconda Farr, 3 BD and a Pilot BD. Also you can see that it has a back boarding ramp . - The CIS Tank Droid has a new cool printed piece . That looks awesome and the jetpacks look a little bit new. - The Hoth Rebel Troopers have new googles or a new helmet . Quote

They do. Some vehicles were "traded" with other fleets, along with supplies, which gives teh presence of the symbol to be all over the place. I think the pilot was shown twice in the pic, also it would make an uneven guard count to have 3. Yup! I saw the closer images. There are only 3 BDs, with 1 as a pilot! I can also see that almost certainly Gunray has a printyed head. Anyone notice that the R2 in the Y-wing is the old type? So far I can see that the Senate commandos have the same helmet as the clones, But I'm sure it's temporary as new moulds will be cast. From the small Venator interior pic, I think it is quite packed. No empty vastness like the ISD, it seems Edited January 20, 2009 by Motti Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Hi! I'm new here on Eurobricks, although I've been reading this thread for a long time. I've been wondering, who is firing the catapult on the Endor boxart? It's not any of the Ewoks, and I don't understand why the catapult would fire by itself. Quote

If you like to see them they are in my brickshelf which is in my signature. And no one is firing it. No one needs to be. Quote
