Darth Legolas Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 I'm really not sure, but something tells me the MF won't be ROTS. Most likely a mid-scale 10h anniversary. In fact, I think every OT set coming out this year will be labeled "10th anniversary." Though it is very possible that all "10th anniversary sets" are actually redone versions of old ones. Sort of. Endor battle would be two combined. The old ATST with Chewie and Ewok Attack combined. With many update features. Vaders TIE would be... Vaders TIE. Echo Base would be the millions of Hoth sets with minifigs plucked out, including 7666, with an added Taun-Waun. But Home One could still be labeled as 10th anniversary even though it was never made before. Technically, both the A-wing and B-wing have both been made twice, so whichever ends up in the Home One hangar will be considered the remake. A remake of a remake. Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Wait... Was the MF even existent in 19 BBY? Quote
KimT Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 Good point Darth Legolas. When looking at the CON pics, it seems that the Endor set will be priced somewhere around 120 USD. Sounds fair to me. Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 120 Clams! Isn't it just a mini base with a walker and a bunch of guys? It should be like 50. Hmm Quote

It's loaded with figs, a base, an AT-ST, speeder bikes and more. No set with that piece count within the licensed themes would ever be 50 USD. Quote

I knew it all along. I doubt it will be changed to 20, or 25. Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 In a world of magic. But seriously, comparing the RGS to Endor Rgs: Ship Was one of only way to get phase 1s Obi Only Cody Assaj Endor: Bunker 2 Bikes A little catapult A walker A bunch of guys It should be like $70 Back in my day, you could buy a car! Haha thats off topic Quote

KimT Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 Where did you hear it'll be $30US?I sure hope not... we heard romours of $20 didn't we? Yup. Several of us believe it'll be 20-25 USD Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 It should be $20. Its like a double battle pack Quote
KimT Posted February 1, 2009 Author Posted February 1, 2009 Perhaps we should quit the price guessing and get back on topic? (That's a rhetorical question ) Quote

Our hope remains EDIT: sorry Kim. i didn't see your post - we posted at the same time Edited February 1, 2009 by legoman Quote

I'm actually hoping that the MF is a redone 4504. I missed out on it, and thought 7190 was rather ugly. 10179 is so far out of my price range it's actually kind of funny. If they make the cockpit big enough to hold four (even barely would make me happy), develop the interior some more (or just leave it open to customizations, as long as they stick the dejarik table in there) and give her a dual engine bar, I would be very, very pleased. Even though I already am, with all of the OT sets this year. Quote

The 7190 was better designed in my opinion, but when you've flipped it over, it came apart I too am hoping for a remake, but hopefully a crossbreed between the previous versions. Is there a MF in the Clone Wars? - We could be getting an early version of it. Quote
Commander Flash Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Darn Rhetorical questions! Well... The Venator has blue lightsabers on each side if you look: Quote
halomaster96 Posted February 1, 2009 Posted February 1, 2009 Darn Rhetorical questions!Well... The Venator has blue lightsabers on each side if you look: Those could be either more lasers or a hatch that holds the roof over the interior. Quote

The things I dislike with the 7190 are the ugly big gray curved pieces, the section in between the mandibles, and the cockpit. It wasn't the Falcon during the Clone Wars; it had a different owner, different pilots, different name (the Stellar Envoy) and a different paint job. Commander Flash Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Nice find! Id just replace the sabers for different rods Quote
darkrebellion Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 I think a RotJ MF would be A LOT better than the PT "spin-off" in my opinion. The reasons are simple: Better color scheme, a lot more iconic and the best part some of the minifigs I ever wanted since I start collecting back in 2003, yes I am talking about Lando and Nien Numb . The only problem with a VI MF is that then they could scheme it into having only two figs, Lando and Nunb. If they made a V (Cloud City) version, they could still have Lando, but also include a Bespin Luke, a Leia, and Artoo/Threepio, plus maybe Han. Quote
Oswald the Rabbit Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 Well if it is a RotJ MF then TLC could include some additional Minifigs besides Lando and Nien Nub. I mean look at the last Slave 1, we got Boba Fett, a Cloud City technician, Dengar, and IG-88 Quote
CloneCommanderDelta7 Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 (edited) Well if it was a Clone wars MF then what minifigs would it have? Some mechanic and a crew of pilots that we've never heard of before. We always need clones, but of different sorts. Edited February 2, 2009 by CloneCommanderDelta7 Quote
KimT Posted February 2, 2009 Author Posted February 2, 2009 Now that we've been shown the Stellar Envoy, I think that's the one we're getting. A mid-scale "millenium falcon" could be the working title and since they're the "same" and we're getting loads of OT sets this year, well then this could be the one we're getting. Quote

To be honest i wouldn't really mind if it was CW... I've done my dash with falcons, so it's CW i won't have to get it Quote
legopiotre Posted February 2, 2009 Posted February 2, 2009 In my opinion, the faulcon may be scaled to fit with the Home one. It would be great if these sets came together. we could use the Home One hangar to place the falcon. Quote
